I went to church camp this week and I heard this song and it touched my heart. Because of this song I was able to get filled with the holy spirit, get baptized and sing it with my friends. At the beginning of the week i didn't want to participate. God helped me! God is great!

I know exactly what you mean. I know that jesus is the son of god, but mary had the opportunity to take the responsibility to have Jesus for 9 months in her whom. An angel came to her and told her that you are going to have a baby boy and you will name him Jesus and she said yes to that angel and then the angel left vanished. But i know in the Bible she is not there. But Mary told us to pray the Rosary everyday, because the Rosary brings us happiness in our lives and gives us help in our lives. Romans 10: 9-10 says: "that if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation". So you need to confess: that means "say with your mouth" 1)that Jesus is God and that you want Him to be your Lord (master). 2)that you believe in your heart that God raised Him after He died for your sins 3)Be sorry for your sins and repent of them. Tell God that your want to be a disciple of Christ. You need to find a Bible Church and tell them that you just gave your life to Christ. You need to be taught in the Scriptures and learn what it means to be a disciple. I could go on but if you find what I said agreeable, please write back and I can tell you more.

Read some scriptures of encouragement: maybe go online to find them. #2 Be practical: get out and do something kind for someone else. #3 Find a way to get some physical exercise. # Get some Fellowship with God's people. I asked Him to send you someone who can give you some encouragement. Find a church or a bible study or a Christian support group or all of them! Surround yourself with God's people. Ask God to reveal why you are depressed. Sometimes depression is caused by physical factors: diet, etc. Sometimes it is emotional: I was depressed for years because of unresolved anger from my childhood and my past. God led me to let go and forgive people who hurt me and I have been healed of my anger/depression. I will pray for you some more today. I wish you the best.

I was brought up as a Christian but as I grew up got a job, car, house i started forgetting about my religion my god. I feel miserable i stopped reading the bible and never looked at Christian teachings for over a year Help me lord im falling into the worldly temptations :(
You can get back to reading and worshiping. Ask a friend to do it with you. Or keep you accountable. And don't just read the Bible that's boring you will get bored do things different. Get a book that will help you. One day do you devotions with your book that helps you. Another day just watch a bunch of RUclips videos of Christian songs. And if you want spend a whole night just praying. I hope you can figure it out!!

First i agree with everyone that He is an amazing God, Father, Helper, Maker and Son. Long story com ing now: When I was 11 I was sad, I had a fight with my brother, my sister came to me. She told me that He would help me. A happy feeling came and I wassn't sad anymore, I saw the fight that I have with my brother was my fould. She asked to pray with me, but i did not wanted. (because it was imbarising... I dont know why) From that moment He was in my life. Without that I knew it. When the attac on Paris came is was so afraid! That they would come and kill me. I lissend this song and others like: Our God is an awesome God, Lord i need you, 10.000 reasons and a lot of others. They gave me peace in my heart. And know, He is in my life. Now I know that if He would come today, that its okay. Because what He do is okay. Dont think i am so sure about that I may be His child, I have a lot of feelings about it. I do make mistakes and I still have fights with my Brother of Sister.... But its differend... I'm sad a lot.... I'm still afraid from people who hat me.... But... I know that if my HeavenFather dont want that Ihave pain, that I dont have pain! Because He love's me! And you... Of course there will be times of sadniss of pain.... but they will be okay!

I think this song will always be one of my favourite worship songs! I remember getting my mum to play this song for me every morning while I got ready for primary school. JESUS is the light of my world and without him I don't know who or where I'd be. After a few years of feeling low and not really feeling like myself and how I used to feel, I finally feel like I'm starting to become my old self again, with the help of God! I now go to a church that is so including and has included me since day 1 and I go to a youth group with the church, which is really good for me. I now know that whatever flaws I have, God still loves me the same and I don't have to worry about what other people think of me, the only thing that matters is what I think about me and what God thinks about me. Hi my name is Anna I am 19. I have never done drugs, self harmed, or been abused, I have a family and a few friends that love me and care for me very much. But I feel lonely. I struggle with an addiction similar to one I had in the past. I am in college but stay at home instead of in a dorm. I am struggling with school because I lack the motivation and self confidence. I was homeschooled for 8 years so that caused me to do less work and develop more social anxieties. Whenever I am in public I often break down or avoid everyone. In public I am always the Wallflower. No one comes to me and I am just in the corner alone. I'm afraid of what the future holds. I have no idea where I am going in life and it scares me. I know there is a bunch of people who have it a lot worse but will someone pray for me?
happystrongpure you got it, Anna. Be patient and try to work as hard as you can. Let the relationships you develop be those the Lord gives you. Find a nice bible-based church and try to socialize, enter prayer groups, and share your concerns there where there are people you can trust. Kudos for avoiding the trappings that most youth (including myself) fall into. It's so hard coming back as the prodigal son. My heart was shattered when I came crawling back to the Lord, because it hit me what He did for me and what I did, my thankless behavior. You don't need that. I'm 47, a big tough carpenter, that still breaks down when I think of how wonderful the Lord is. He has proved His love for me day by day since my return. Believe me, he is all you need. But the church needs you, too, where you can edify others and yourself be edified. Bless your beautiful heart, young lady, there is no reason to hide. You are wonderful, just like your Maker.

Please know this I am a mother of a 16 year old boy who is struggling cos we lost his father in 2004 to cancer. We have been through hard times and believe me if you believe in God he is always with you. I have been a believer since I was a young child. Try to say hello to some people and see whether they talk back if not just see if you can strike up a conversation with someone else. You will soon see that it gets easier with time. I was like that when I was a teenager and eventually you become stronger. Remember to watch songs that you like and keep repeating them to yourself. With your studies you will find a way to catch up later on. I still study now at the age of 49 years old in 4 days. I remember witnessing some scary assaults at the train station I took to school each morning. After that I was sooo anxious about riding it, so I plugged in my headphones and listened to these songs whenever I went. It helped a lot and God gave me comfort and courage. Now I listen to these songs whenever I'm feeling scared like that. I know that sounds cheesy, but it's true! :)

+Kylie K let me tell you a story my dads mom died she died of cancer and we are Christian that type of cancer is very painful but when she died in our house well she lasted 3 months of cancer she couldn't go to the bathroom by her self ok she will do her Business in the couch or in the bed she couldn't stand up fast to go to the bathroom they had to put pampers so she could go to the restroom And I'm telling you that cancer was one of the most painful cancer she didn't feel any pain was God good yes he was good because God didn't let her to no pain know at the last moment of her life it seems like she felt little pain after all those months ok was God good or not

Instead there are there for a reason. Because they have something to learn from you or you have something to learn from them. Remember too, that you must close one door in order for Him to open another. He's got this! You, together, have this! You don't need a man to define you. Just remember whose child you are! You are a daughter of the MOST High! I would suggest you contact your church admin. or some churches in your area to see if there are some places that you can get help from. Pray to Him that He will show you those who have the knowledge to help you with resources. I will most certainly pray for you! Please know in your heart, that you will be okay. May He wrap His loving arms around you tightly in your time of need. If you need someone to pray with, there are many numbers online. They are there to pray with you & Listen to you. I know exactly what you mean. I know that jesus is the son of god, but mary had the opportunity to take the responsibility to have Jesus for 9 months in her whom. An angel came to her and told her that you are going to have a baby boy and you will name him Jesus and she said yes to that angel and then the angel left vanished. But i know in the Bible she is not there. But Mary told us to pray the Rosary everyday, because the Rosary brings us happiness in our lives and gives us help in our lives. Hebrews 11:6 says "whoever comes to God must believe that He is; and that he is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him". I must start in the beginning: Genesis 1:1 says that In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth. You also must read the Gospel of John: chapter 1 verse 1 says: "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He (the Word) was in the beginning and all things came into being through Him..... We read down to verse 14 and find out that this Word; whoever He is, became flesh and dwelt among humans. Who do you think the writer is talking about here? He is talking about the one who spoke the Creation into existence as we see in Genesis. He is God; the Son. For just as you have a mind, a spirit and a body, so has God. Jesus Christ is the Body of God: who came here to earth to dwell with us.
While He was here, he became the Sacrificial Lamb of God: born in a cave in Bethlehem; the place where they raised lambs for Temple sacrifices so God would "pass over" their sins temporarily. When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he exclaimed: Behold: the Lamb of God who takes away the Sin of the World. See, the only thing that keeps you from a relationship with God: now and in eternity is your sin. Sin is a breaking of God's Law: and since we have all broken his laws, we are guilty on the day when He judges us: except for this: Jesus paid for them all: when He was hanged on that cross: His blood was paying for all our sins. The last thing He said before He died was "It is finished" which translated really means "Paid In Full". In Aramaic, it is a business term: when you had finished paying off your home or oxen, whatever: the holder of the mortgage would say "It is finished". So all your sins are paid for. What do you need to do? You need to accept the payment; right? So tell God you accept the payment for your sins that Jesus made for you. Also tell Him that you believe in Him and that you believe in Jesus and that you would like to have your sins washed away. Romans 10: 9-10 says: "that if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses,
resulting in salvation". So you need to confess: that means "say with your mouth" 1)that Jesus is God and that you want Him to be your Lord (master). 2)that you believe in your heart that God raised Him after He died for your sins 3)Be sorry for your sins and repent of them. Tell God that your want to be a disciple of Christ.
You need to find a Bible Church and tell them that you just gave your life to Christ. You need to be taught in the Scriptures and learn what it means to be a disciple. I could go on but if you find what I said agreeable, please write back and I can tell you more.

Long story com ing now: When I was 11 I was sad, I had a fight with my brother, my sister came to me. She told me that He would help me. A happy feeling came and I wassn't sad anymore, I saw the fight that I have with my brother was my fould. She asked to pray with me, but i did not wanted. (because it was imbarising... I dont know why) From that moment He was in my life. Without that I knew it. When the attac on Paris came is was so afraid! That they would come and kill me. I lissend this song and others like: Our God is an awesome God, Lord i need you, 10.000 reasons and a lot of others. They gave me peace in my heart. And know, He is in my life. Now I know that if He would come today, that its okay. Because what He do is okay. Dont think i am so sure about that I may be His child, I have a lot of feelings about it. I do make mistakes and I still have fights with my Brother of Sister.... But its differend... I'm sad a lot.... I'm still afraid from people who hat me.... But... I think this song will always be one of my favourite worship songs! I remember getting my mum to play this song for me every morning while I got ready for primary school. JESUS is the light of my world and without him I don't know who or where I'd be. After a few years of feeling low and not really feeling like myself and how I used to feel, I finally feel like I'm starting to become my old self again, with the help of God! I now go to a church that is so including and has included me since day 1 and I go to a youth group with the church, which is really good for me. I now know that whatever flaws I have, God still loves me the same and I don't have to worry about what other people think of me, the only thing that matters is what I think about me and what God thinks about me. GOD IS GOOD!!!!!

Hi my name is Anna I am 19. I have never done drugs, self harmed, or been abused, I have a family and a few friends that love me and care for me very much. But I feel lonely. I struggle with an addiction similar to one I had in the past. I am in college but stay at home instead of in a dorm. I am struggling with school because I lack the motivation and self confidence. I was homeschooled for 8 years so that caused me to do less work and develop more social anxieties. Whenever I am in public I often break down or avoid everyone. In public I am always the Wallflower. No one comes to me and I am just in the corner alone. I'm afraid of what the future holds. I have no idea where I am going in life and it scares me. I know there is a bunch of people who have it a lot worse but will someone pray for me?
happystrongpure you got it, Anna. Be patient and try to work as hard as you can. Let the relationships you develop be those the Lord gives you. Find a nice bible-based church and try to socialize, enter prayer groups, and share your concerns there where there are people you can trust. Kudos for avoiding the trappings that most youth (including myself) fall into. It's so hard coming back as the prodigal son. My heart was shattered when I came crawling back to the Lord, because it hit me what He did for me and what I did, my thankless behavior. You don't need that. I'm 47, a big tough carpenter, that still breaks down when I think of how wonderful the Lord is. He has proved His love for me day by day since my return. Believe me, he is all you need. But the church needs you, too, where you can edify others and yourself be edified. Bless your beautiful heart, young lady, there is no reason to hide. You are wonderful, just like your Maker.

Please know this I am a mother of a 16 year old boy who is struggling cos we lost his father in 2004 to cancer. We have been through hard times and believe me if you believe in God he is always with you. I have been a believer since I was a young child. Try to say hello to some people and see whether they talk back if not just see if you can strike up a conversation with someone else. You will soon see that it gets easier with time. I was like that when I was a teenager and eventually you become stronger. Remember to watch songs that you like and keep repeating them to yourself. With your studies you will find a way to catch up later on. I still study now at the age of 49 years old in 4 days. I remember witnessing some scary assaults at the train station I took to school each morning. After that I was sooo anxious about riding it, so I plugged in my headphones and listened to these songs whenever I went. It helped a lot and God gave me comfort and courage. +Kylie K let me tell you a story my dads mom died she died of cancer and we are Christian that type of cancer is very painful but when she died in our house well she lasted 3 months of cancer she couldn't go to the bathroom by her self ok she will do her Business in the couch or in the bed she couldn't stand up fast to go to the bathroom they had to put pampers so she could go to the restroom And I'm telling you that cancer was one of the most painful cancer she didn't feel any pain was God good yes he was good because God didn't let her to no pain know at the last moment of her life it seems like she felt little pain after all those months ok was God good or not
