I've been researching and night hiking in the Green Swamp, as it's minutes away from where I live and I can tell you it is definitely creepy and full of skunkape activity. The environment gives off pure Jurassic Park vibes! And a big thing that people need to understand is that around the coastline of Florida there are lots of people, but when you get into the center of the state there is Miles and Miles of nothing. It’s very sparsely populated.

Hello fellow Masshole. (🤭Jk💗) I'm also from Massa husetts. Berkshire County to be specific. I wish i knew of more or more recent encounters around here. My Dads property boarders October Mnt State Forest. (In the town of Lee Ma)
Ive read some BRIEF encounter descriptions on a BFRO Site. 🤔🙄I Believe sightings were in '92. Somewhere around then. Nothing too recent. (That i know of or have been able to find)
I'm of the mindset, If pple are seeing or encountering unexplainable phenomenon in this State, specifically in the South-West corner of Massachusetts, they aren't comfortable coming forward & reporting about it.
Sasquatch, Dogmen & the like aren't as readily excepted facts in this part of the Country, at this time. Soon. Hopefully soon. ... The more people speak up, the more shows like this are made and viewed, the safer it becomes for pple to step up - speak out. #speakyourtruth #proudmasshole #northeast #berkshirehills #berkshirecounty #somuchwedontyetknow #absenceofproofisnotproofofabsence (stole that one, obviously🙃)

@@CentralFloridaBigfoot ,,makes much better sense to me now looking at it that way. Im a huge hunter and I use blinds just like that and the very first day hunting out of it I literally had a doe stick her head through the window and her nose got probably half a foot from me before she smelled me or something she knew wasn't right because she didn't panic and jerk her head out of the blind but she very slowly backed her way out and got about 10 feet away and started her foot stomping trying to get me or that blind to move then after maybe 20 seconds or less she snorted and ran for her life. Luckily for her the only weapon I was using that day was my camera, unluckily for me she had snuck up on me and my camera was hanging off a pole I had rigged inside the blind to hold items like my camera, binoculars, a bow anything just to have at easy access. Even though it was right there at hands reach she had snuck up to the blind and by the time I seen her I couldn't even reach for my camera so I missed the perfect opportunity for such a great picture of her sticking her head through that window.

I can't believe they are wading through that water. Their may not be gators in something that shallow but one would think python or worse water moccasin. Probably black widow and brown recluse in their as well. Not the most ideal squatching area unless you don't mind potentially getting bit.

No, it has everything to do with experience, and knowledge. People watch too many movies! We take pirogues through gator farms at night here in LA to catch crappie and catfish, or frogs. After 50 years we’ve never had an incident. Nor has my grandfathers or their grandfathers... Gators are no different from ANYTHING else in the swamp/woods, they don’t want to have anything to do with humans unless you have been feeding them! And you can’t compare alligators to crocodiles, that would be like comparing black bear to polar bears. Each have entirely different temperaments and levels of aggression...
I would much rather be paddling a pirogue or kayak down the bayou at night than to walk along the bank without a flashlight. The only way an alligator is going to attack you is if you step on it. I found it to be pretty comical when the dude, who is apparently from FL, was all geared up to go kayaking until he saw an alligator... What makes you think that just because you don’t see an alligator where you intend on launching your boat that you’re not going to see any on your boat ride? Lol! I think he was intending on going kayaking that night depending on his level of confidence in the moment... Again, knowledge and experience, humans fear what they don’t know or understand.

They know when they're hunted and looked for. That's why many of the true actual sightings and experiences happen to campers that are just minding their own business. You don't have to look for them they already know you're there when you get there to the area

Ooooh... Need to save to watch this. We went there not long back at Colt Creek SP which is on the edge of Green Swamp. Early in the morning a few months back and it was a cold morning. Few people around. We started on the children's trail into the forest and there were no kids at all there but there was something else all right. Something was knocking as soon as we entered the woods. And kept at it. We didn't knock back...usually we do. GF said it was hunters somewhere but I don't think there was any area with hunting nearby at Colt Creek State Park. Well, we didn't see a squatch, much to my displeasure. I'd bet anything they are in there, though. Saw a few weird looking curled over palmetto trees though. Not sure how they get that way. Could be natural. Maybe they find something like that on this video! Can 't wait to see it. LOVE LOVE LOVE Small Town Monsters!

I grew up in Brandon, Florida and now live in the Norton/Barberton Ohio area. Within 5 miles of Wadsworth. In December 1974, I was camping with a good sized group under the Bell Shoals Rd bridge crossing the Alafia River. About 5 miles south of Brandon. Now this area is mostly shopping centers and bedroom communities. Back then it was cow pastures and palmetto jungle. A lot the area in this video. As we were sitting around a good sized fire. A strange sound came from across the river and a distance in the area of the pasture. It sounded like a howl of agony. It was like nothing any of us heard before. About an hour and a half later, there was a little rustle in the trees across the river. In the clear light of a full moon. We saw a large dark shape with red eyes, squatting down, watching us. We all went silent and froze. Then it suddenly stood up and disappeared into trees and scrub it came out of. I've been ridiculed by a lot people when telling this and I lost contact with anyone else that was there within a few years of it happening. But I can never deny what I saw.

There's a documented case of a hunter in green swamp that was hog hunting as he took aim on the hog and about ready to shoot the hog a skunk ape stepped out behind a tree grab the hog by its legs slapped it up against the tree let out a horrifying yell through the hog over its shoulder and walked away that happened in green swamp

Red eyes, I'm thinking, where is the cable or the on/off button. Hit wood, 3 times, Sasquatch hears it and immediately knows 3 equals human! A Sasquatch's walk on the hunt is definitely not like a normal walk on the street!! Or calling a Sasquatch with high key and then low, why? I just listed a few things that I would do different✌🏻

I have hunted the Green Swamp Wildlife Management Area since the mid 80's and I have heard stories from others.
I have never seen anything myself, but I have had a few experiences over the years I can't explain and kinda freaked me out.

It wasn't the hunters hog to take. Sasquatch needs it a lot more than some hunter whom has a cozy food filled home and grocery store to go back to.
He is lucky sasquatch didn't do more to punish him from stealing its food for his clan. And, bullets don't usually stop a sasquatch.

The way yous move around your cameras and torches make me feel that if ever you do see a big type creature, the footage will be terrible. Get gimbles, Stand still, Keep camera on area of interest etc etc.. that scene with the boar proved it.

I also believe I have a photo of the big one while I took a panorama photo of my surroundings while being messed with by a few of these creatures. I am in green swamp every couple days hiking and exploring off trail with my gps.
