Winter solo ICE CAMPING in EXTREME COLD!

- the weather is dropping fast in Minnesota and its time to get out and chase some cold front walleye. With a high of -33 and a low of -46 this week (real feel) camping on the ice is going to be very very cold. but that is not going to stop us from chasing after some walleye even if we cannot feel our fingers. We of course have the underwater fishing camera to get the best view of the fish while they are eating. Ice fishing with an underwater camera makes not only the fishing more entertaining but also the video itself. Make sure your buddy heater HOSE is made by buddy heater. Any other hose releases oils internally that clog the buddy heater.

You should buy a garmin
I have two livescope plus systems
I think low oxygen level is the reason why your heater is shutting off.
As the temps drop bring your tank inside.
I hear that’s unsafe.
What lake
You should have a CO detector in the house with you always. The heater probably got tripped because of lack of oxygen in the house

CO2 is carbon dioxide. CO is carbon monoxide. You need a CO detector not a CO2 detector . Carbon monoxide also stays closer to ground level so be sure to monitor at a lower level in the house.
@jeremysmith7377 I keep mine at the same level I sleep at. You want it align with your cot. Carbon monoxide does not rise or fall
I assume you have more heat than the portable buddy? That cold of temp and you were barefoot.
At the time of filming that, I had just a portable buddy connected to my 20 pound tank, by night time when the temps got super cold i because super cold and now (1 month later) I run a portable buddy on one side and a big buddy on the other, when I’m filming cold days like that. Having fans above me pushing the hot air helps as well

I talked to most of em during the day 3 out of the four were chasing crappie. So yes they were haha. I told em next time to come to 20 feet and fish some walleye with me if they come back. My comment was a joke.
