I have no idea of typical Moroccan prices but I thought that 150 dh (which is £12 I think) for that green Khaftan seemed like a decent price for a souvenir, especially after you came in to his shop and filmed him.
I enjoy your vlogs. But you guys were very rude to that salesman of the women dress. Not only by keep filming him in his shop, but also by the way of negotiating. Sticking to your first low offer without intent to buy is an insult. Of course he started too high, but that’s often the case. He even ended up at 150dh, which is IMO really not too expensive for such a dress. So you actually won the game, and then you’re suddenly not interested anymore, that’s strange. Don’t bother trying something on and negotiate if you don’t want to buy it in the first place.
Hello guys, I'm very happy you've visited my beautiful city Agadir 😍, it's a city of relaxation and tranquility. I've watched your chilling around the city and 8 see that you only give a quick tour and you barely discovered the quarter of the city, you missed visiting many different direction including the old Medina up the little mountain which is known as "Agadir Oufella", the place where everything had started a long time ago, and the view up from there is so amazing. You missed walking all around the side Walk by the sea, the length of it is about 9 km. You also missed riding the jet ski and the parachute in the beach besides surfing activities. You missed taking the yacht and enjoying nice moments deep in the ocean. You didn't get the chance to eat the local foods like Tajine made out of goat meat and also taste local fish, you haven't a Walk in the other beaches of Taghazout and Tamraght, and also the warm environment of these beaches esp having drinks in the cafes and restaurants which got sights on the sea 😍, you have missed to taste the local Argan oil another things which belongs only to this area, you have missed visiting the new Medina where they film movies, you only gave it a quick tour, but there so much things to do as horse riding as well and what about Tanit restaurant and it's beautiful design it's located in Your, I won't forget to mention the mountains and the beautiful hotels you can visit there. Well you have missed a lot . But still nice to see there .

Wanted to come down a little more than that. He started at 250 which means it’s more than double the price I think 100 would of been a fair price. Where are you from?
@@OTWD_yt The corniche prices are always higher, it's a tourist area, higher prices. The souk is way better place to shop. I'm from Ontario, Canada. My husband is from the desert. We have a place in Agadir, so know it very well.
Beautiful bargaining. You defeated this greedy merchant. The selling price of that dress is 120 dirhams, and he originally asked for 350 dirhams, and you wanted to pay 100 dirhams. This is a beautiful lesson for greedy merchants. You did well. You are a Moroccan professional in bargaining.
No, it was rude, because they weren’t interested in the first place. The comment at the end revealed it (“I don’t need it anyway”). Then don’t go shopping for it, if you don’t need it. So I guess just wanted to show their so called negotiating skills. And if he wasn’t greedy he wouldn’t be a merchant. It’s his job. The greediness was very obvious from both sides.

Am moroccan I hope Morocco becomes as developed as the UK one day
As a Moroccan also, I never hoped to be like the UK. “Development” doesn’t mean the same thing for all of us.

Go to dakhla it's beautiful too

What was the name of the hotel you are staying at
Check the video description
Just a note
White paint of buildings with blue or light grean or dark green
Is not a Greek style but is Mediterranean style of building specially southern Mediterranean countries from Morocco Algeria Tunisia and Libya
Since long time these countries paint houses buildings and places of worships as well as graves with while color specially in Madinas (old walled towns)
I got historical evidences from medieval time that shows how people in that region uses
whine paints in their houses extensively
And as north Africa has sting relation and trade connection with Greece and italy since ancient time as well as during medieval times thus probably Greeks has been influenced by Maghribi countries
Go check the historical references you will find buildlings houses tombs and places of worships in morroco and all maghribi vountries were painted by white color since 13the century
💯 just a comparison. Nothing more
Nice video informative thank you
You are welcome 🤗

My husband is Moroocan 180 dirhams was actually a good price. I own several of the dresses.
Haha yep we are quite experienced at this
No, it was rude, because they weren’t interested in the first place.

INWI nor imu😂 (pronounced IN and WE... INWI) For your info you can get a sim card for 200 dhs (unlimited calls and 25Gb per month) No commitment, so if you are in Morocco for 2 weeks and more I would recommend it. At minute 1:25 the guy was asking you if you wanted a camera
Ah ok 👍 thank you 😊
