I'm obsessed with this team! The 85 Patriots are one of the best teams in NFL history folks even though they lost in the super bowl the defense and rushing attack was unstoppable. The whole roster was stacked!........not to mention they had the best uniforms in sports. I love #30 what a tough runner/blocker.
I remember Irving Fryar the WR and John Hannah the Guard from New England during the 1980's bc they were probably the most well known and best players from those years. Hannah I think is in the HOF but I may be wrong.
Fins had one of the worst defenses in the league, and one of the best offenses, for several years in a row around this time. Marino, Clayton, Duper, and the five guys up front were pretty much the entire team. Oh and also Jim Jensen. 🤣👍
Of course no No Name Defence for the Dolphins. Dan Marino the Air Coryell of the mid 80,s. Very entertaining. But, that,s about it. What,s a Steve Grogan?
The Pats didn't get to the playoffs for over 10 years before Grogan became a starter. Grogan helped make the Pats contenders. In 1985, the Pats won all 6 games Grogan played in. Unfortunately he suffered a broken leg against the Jets and didn't return to the lineup until the Super Bowl
@@davidcobb2693not Grogan’s fault that the alcoholic owner fired the coach with one game left in Grogan’s best season, even though the team had already clinched the division title.
Ahh! Those classic uniforms! Love 'em!! 😎👌👌👌👌.

Also Special Teams Captain. NEW ENGLAND MISSES MOSI TATUPU!!!
When you lose a Super Bowl by a 46-10 score nothing about you is “unstoppable”
@@thefrase7884 LoL..I was thinking the same thing
Hahah

They were a good team , great O-line , Grogan rescued the season with his 6 wins
Always loved this specific uniform and helmet from New England. Far better than the current one that's been used for more than twenty years.
Yeah they could have just changed the jersey to blue and kept the logo
Patriots with their best uniforms and logo (pat the patriot)
I wanna say I saw this here in baltimore but all I really remember is grogan on the qb keeper for the score
Still have great memories of this game! Thank you for posting this! Great comeback from MY PATRIOTS!

Hannah is in the HOF.
@@kourtneyterry7746 I would hope so

Irving Fryar and Stanley Morgan at the wideouts, this was a real good looking Pats squad! Stanley Morgan should be in the H' ...oh, nevermind.😦
Thanks for the upload. This is one of the 85 Patriots wins I didn't have.
Used to like how late season Pats home 1.00 games ended in darkness. Gypped on their time zone like Chicago.
I love games with daylight in the first half and nighttime in the second
The opponent has to play in the same lighting. 🤔
Huge comeback victory for the Super bowl bound patriots. Pats would win in miami 31 to 14 in January of 86 in the afc title game

Pats were the Cinderella team in 85. Dolphins defense was garbage compared to the Pats.

🤣👍
This is regular season game
11 penalties 4 turnovers
No problem...
Would like to know what the Vegas line was. Were the Fins favored to win this one?
Bob Griese was horrible as an analyst when he first went to the booth. He improved later on when he did college ball with Keith Jackson.

A Steve Grogan was the Anti- Tom Brady Pats QB of the mid 70's- mid 80's, posting a perfect playoff record of 0-4!
