There is actually a very negative thing in many garden makeover videos: that they end up completely built over, like indoor living spaces with a few potted plants. Here's at least lawn left, often even that is replaced by plastic carpets. Garden should be plants and nature.
Wow. I’ve watched this video from start to finish, about 7 times now. You can always tell that when a person is skilled in their craft based on how well they handle their tools. You are very impressive. One question though- what are these pavers called? They can’t be pavers, but they can’t be concrete?
Am I wrong in saying it didn’t look like you cemented them posts in ? Just a bit round the top and also unless them sleepers are oak or similar quality timber there not gonna last to long . I like to float my sleeper beds , 4 inch posts ,?700mm deep cemented in and float the sleepers off them so no sustained contact with the wet ground , oh and post savers around the posts .
Yeah I wondered the same....not sure why they can't engage in a comment, only a like. Does the like validate your question? Or just acknowledge your comment. Oh well....YOLO I guess
You only need to coat the cut ends of treated timbers to make them last longer. Seeing them on plenty of gravel ensures good drainage. The inside would only need to be coated or lined to prevent leaching of treatment chemicals into your garden plants.
I’m following your example 🎉😂 thank you for sharing, one difference in the raised bed, because it’s touching the ground & grass directly, in placing a paver below, just to give it a longer lifer is my guess
Don't get me wrong I think it's a Beautiful work with capital B 😂 👏👏👏 Although I would much prefer you had place the stones lengthways where the two paths meet to avoid those little cigars like cuttings, sorry. Great job nevertheless 👍
The wood was already UC4 treated and then used Black Jack Bitumen paint, here’s the link: www.amazon.co.uk/shop/lawnstripesandhedges/curation/640b4ae1-651c-4ad9-94fc-5967f0d80260?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsflawnstripesandhedges_ZE2K9GCG8N44WTPZ8DYW&dplnkId=e8dac5b7-387e-4b57-a2e1-22d63147b4fa&dplnk=Y
You guys need to stop posting videos….I ain’t getting nothing done around the house with this distraction! Cracking work lads these projects look amazing! Fancy a trip to Cornwall to sort my mess of a garden 😅😅
Beautiful work . Is it better to lay the slabs in mortar or concrete ? I’ve found before it can be hard to work them in with the stone in the concrete ? Maybe down to the mix being a bit dry I don’t know On the other hand , you sometimes hear people don’t trust mortar alone to lay them in ? Thanks
I quit landscaping. One of the hardest jobs possible. Everything is at low level. Lower back takes an absolute pounding. Hope you make more money from your videos eventually! 💪🏻
When you take pride in your work the finish is always good.

You painted the timber with a barrier but maybe wrap some DPC around the posts to protect against the concrete.
Lovely finish though. Great work

I love this work! Tell me something: do you apply any coat of paint or oil on the timber? In order to make its life to continue long time.

Great vids one question when sleepers are done what is the black stuff you paint the sleepers in thanks
It’s called bitumen
How are you gonna replace that feather board fence when it's rotted out?
Nice tidy craftsmanship on the porcelain lads.
Looks A1 lads 👌
Simple beautiful. How much does something like this cost roughly?
I would like very much for you to do my garden. Do you work in the Cheshire area?
Very nice!
Thank you 😊
Looks sick. How’s it holding up with the rain and all? Did you apply anything to make the wood last longer? I also wanna make one
The wood was already UC4 treated and then used Black Jack Bitumen paint, here’s the link: www.amazon.co.uk/shop/lawnstripesandhedges/curation/640b4ae1-651c-4ad9-94fc-5967f0d80260?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsfshop_aipsflawnstripesandhedges_ZE2K9GCG8N44WTPZ8DYW&dplnkId=e8dac5b7-387e-4b57-a2e1-22d63147b4fa&dplnk=Y
This looks amazing but how is the home owner going to be able to replace a fence picket? Or is there more space than it actually looks?
Excellent
Thank you 😊
