I'm not trying to be an asshole "know it all". But with him being 84 years old and it being 2024 he would've been born in 1940. The earliest he could've served would've been the Vietnam War if he was deployed to a war zone. He would've been 13 years old when the Korean War was dialed down in 1953 with the Armistice Agreement. He could've possibly served in Germany during the Cold War.

😢 Thank you all for doing this, I don't have my parents anymore, and I'm was crying when you were able to get these two to hug each other! That's a start that they needed! I am disabled and I keep getting called by creeps from India, or Nicaragua, and they have my SSN, birthday, address, phone number, credit cards ( which they say they're from the fraud dept and they need the cvc) and my mom's last name!! They've tried all kinds of things to get money from me. They spoofed phone numbers so the FTC fraud department, homeland security, and FBI can't find them! My identity was stolen 6 years ago, and they ruined my life! My info is on the dark web because of the Equifax and Tmobile breaches. I pray that you can help these people!!

He was the one he kept family together. He was family oriented, did not have outside friends, his family was more important to him he always wanted us to do things and go places he loved fishings and hunting, if there was a issue he had us talk it out he did not like drama he was funny and so and kind. he was a supervisor for the Social Security Administration he retired from there when he was 76 years old. He and my Mommy were very clos. They rode into work every day, and they worked together but on different floors! She retired before he did due to heart condition.

Wow inheritance is what it’s all about? The son sounds like it is only to protect his fathers money for his father so he has money to live and spend and his fathers heart not to get broken. If it’s for greed because they think they won’t get the money as their inheritance after he dies is sick. “Money DUE him? (Meaning the son). Sheesh. The fathers money, his life earnings,he can spend (on himself) all he wants. I already told my kids, we will not have much if any left after we are gone. We had to pay a lot while raising them and struggled so hard. Often charging food. Reasons were because we helped my son’s family out and they lived with us. It was such hard times. We are finally empty nesters and are enjoying the life we NEVER had until now. Finally can vacation, go out to dinner, travel a lot, fix up our home, fun cars. So yeah this man should be able to spend his money and not think he’s being selfish and spending his kids inheritance. What a privileged and selfish way to think you have a right to that. If you get it, be gracious and grateful. It sounds so “privileged” thinking you’re due an inheritance. If you don’t get any money, at least know your parents enjoyed their lives.

His granddaughters are not so dependent on him any more, maybe not coming over as much, he is aging and he feels how lonely he is, how quiet the big house is, and due to his career he is not showing much emotion. Soldiers don’t cry. He does not convey his vulnerability, his longing for a woman’s embrace, and it looks like his son very much is of the same type. Stubborn guys who pull themselves together and never dare to admit they have emotions or they have failed.
My bet is that there are YEARS AND YEARS of things to deal with in therapy, but they do not have that. They only have today. So they need to leave everything behind them. The past can’t be changed. Only today. They have to put a line in the sand. Let bad words, misunderstandings and past quarrels be there; in the past. Today is their first day. They know one thing; they love each other. Build on that.

Like the lady you helped, that even though you guys produced all the evidence to her, she still tried to justify that this person was real, and she still sent money. You guys are a blessing for victims, but you can only help those who want to be helped. Much luck to you moving forward.

      @cecillec2331 10 месяцев назад +8

Yeah, right, a conservator to steal all his money and property. Three lawyers in my county were working as conservators and were recently arrested for stealing their clients' money and properties. They were so egregious that they would even look for very old people who were living alone and manipulate them into moving into an assisted living facility saying they were no longer safe living in their home. They go get a court order and as soon as the homeowners were out they steal everything they could. These lawyers had cohorts in every department which needed to sign any papers to facilitate the victimization of these old folks. They were only caught when one of the couples they victimized had a daughter who was actually visiting them once a week. She visited them one day and they were gone. This daughter also happened to be a lawyer. Goodness knows how many millions they had stolen before they were caught. My friend told me since I am old, I should work with a financial advisor who's a fiduciary. My reply to him was, "Right. I know Madoff was a fiduciary and look what he did to all his victims".

The sad thing is it isn't just elders. This feminist culture has broken even young men down so much that they simp in the most extreme ways desperate for even artificial female attention. 10% of men essentialy just have their endless pick of effortless casual sex. And social media has women that are 2/10 so gassed up that they think they're too good for guys on their level or higher because these top 10% males will sleep with them if it doesn't require any effort. So essentialy all men that are 1/10- like 5/10 are completely invisible to women unless they're able to make a connection through their job or social circle... and even when they do... it's basically doomed to fail because their significant other is constantly bombarded by better options they think they have a chance with.
The ultimate result is these pathetic dudes effectively willing to sell everything they own and crawl through glass just to get attention from some girl that's slept with more people in the past year than their mothers did over their entire life.
      Truly truly sad.
All the porn obsessions and simping is rotting the brain of both the guys engaged in it... but also the women that are gassed up by it

Dealing with a delusional elderly person is beyond frustrating. And it's so easy to lose your composure and temper. He doesn't want to hear anything from his son. Having to get a conservative ship or guardianship over a family member or spouse doesn't feel good.
He's seen her bank account that has over 2 million dollars but she needs his money, makes no sense.

@@alanhinkel420I thought the same. Brought back some bitter memories too, because my father and mother were married for 17 years, she died of cancer when I was 15 years old, and my father was dating less than a month later. I understand being lonely, I am married and couldn't imagine losing her, but I ALSO couldn't imagine being with another person ever... It would have to take a lot of time, much more than 30 fu**ing days 🙄 I guess that loneliness is just insurmountable for some people 😔

There is no "right" amount of time before starting a new relationship though.. Yeah, 2 weeks, or a month, or whatever is rather sudden, but there's no actual number set in stone that's "appropriate" before trying to move on. He's already in his 80's and doesn't have a ton of time to begin with. He's lonely and wants companionship. Everyone's different and people cope in different ways. We shouldn't be so quick to judge. 👌

Art is so correct, I spread quite some tears watching that (and then watching again the full interviews in T+). My dad died when I was about 1 year old and mother when I was 10. So I can relate, take care of your loved ones until they are around, especially when they are from that time where editing images were not so easily doable... and AI is becoming a thing. I wish they will get together again peacefully, fck the money, maybe even can get some of it back 'cause of your good work, fingers crossed. Until limbs and mind works at this age and there is money (which of latter he was not concerned about at all) to do that - the world is open to different activities, everything from travelling to whatever. I am really glad and also still surprised that both approved it to be filmed and show the world what these scumbags can do to people and their families. Thank you! Hope it will have an update.

for everyone saying the son is a bad man is sad, i truly don’t think he meant to hurt him, older people are fragile and it was out of love. it could be selfish for financial reasons for his family, but at the same time, it’s mainly for his dad. that money is a lot, and he’s just explaining that his life would be changed with the money he was scammed out of but more so willingly sent to a stranger that was, what he thought to be, a woman he through loved him that he wanted to help, but could’ve sent that money to help his own son and granddaughters. i’m glad they helped him and i hope the man can get some of his money back. is there a go fund me for him?

The tragic loss of his wife creates a type of unrealized trauma that needs to be addressed. He couldn't "save" her so the psychological switch in the brain of a person in this type of deeply masked grief with make him a prime target for these scammers to prey on that need to save the illusory romantic interest.
Between trauma, grief, age and a desperate level of loneliness his brain will stubbornly continue to try to save the "perceived" victim.
