Yep Miwaukee terrible about AC option This is one of the main reasons we transferred some.of our Mileaukee and Makita tools to Metabo HPT 18 & 36 V tools take the MV batteries, AC adapter capable for 36V line, lifetime warranty and super durable all at a better price and deals over the last 5+ yrs
Angelic voice-Heaven calling? I must confess that I am Ridgid Die hard !!! My support group/person (My Wife) reminds me that I have to many Ridgid tools.
I rather charge my batteries with slow chargers. The lifespan is way longer vs using “quick chargers” and I’ve been using Ridgid tools for about 14 years now.
I bought the old one and ive been asking how come there are no internal fans on these chargers. Now all of a sudden it has one. And its $50 more than the old one. Dammit.
DUDE - LOVE THIS!!! Was looking for a shop fan as the summers down here in Oklahoma get real not-so-nice-like. That thing will help. Hey I saw that Ridgid has modified their warrantah. Seems like you get a 3 yr warrantah if you don't register within 90 days but you get the LSA if you do register. I don't remember it always being that way. The way I remember it is if you didn't register in 90 days, you got nothing. But mayhaps I'm not so right about that. Figured I'd ask the man with the angelic voice to see if I can get the definitive answer.
I'm not worried about dust, the fan by nature will blow it out. But, I would be worried about water. No chargers are meant to be around rain, but this one seems like it's more vulnerable if you get it wet on accident.
Did you know Vance doesn't make any Ridgid Orange vegan cookies, he has a bias or rift against Ridgid it seems. At least he doesn't lie like about his feelings like my Tennerrcee Vols friends that claim they bleed orange! 😅😅😂😂😂
Rigid batteries suck they almost all failed after warranty. Lifetime tool warranty is a joke. They make you put a deposit when you turn in a tool & they keep the money if they think it’s your fault. Will never buy Rigid again. Some Ridgid tools worked good unfortunately but the batteries won’t last. Maybe there is a free fix for the battery. I don’t know. One guy “hot wired” one battery to a another & jump started it to bring it back to life. Some hit a reset button inside battery. Reply with a comment please
I've got battrays from rigid that are 9 years old still work fine. The two that went bad after several years I called,2 days later they were delivered and took the bad ones to HD and put in the barrel for old battrays. No problem

Thanks for setting that straight, we were all very worried about it!!!!!!!!!
It was hard for me to come forward with this 😞
@@ToolReviewZone And not about that pesky vegan Gnome but the 16 Oz Mountain dew!!!!!
@@leonardpaciora5039 I just hope it didn't come off as bragging 😪
The fan looks like it would last not on the platform but I have a friend who is. The fact they put a plug is a good selling point.

@@ToolReviewZone I am already married
My DeWALT addiction sponsor told me I needed to branch out, and try others. So I did...by getting a different sponsor.

Mostly a shill
Awesome, I’m a RIDGID fan, very pleased and excited these are available. Very happy with my orange tools !!!
Why do you have rubber pads under your battery? I don’t have this under my 4ah high output

You see what you did 🤣👊
IT TOOK A LOT OF COURAGE TO ADDRESS THOSE RUMORS CLING, STAY STRONG!
Not all heroes wear capes, brother 😌
If I’ve learned one thing from you, it’s never give Vance your sweet fanage, he just doesn’t know fans.
OMG, I FORGOT ABOUT THAT! #vancedontknowfans 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👊
