Having just returned from a trip from South Carolina to see the play in person, I just wanted to give a specific update regarding the speculated *The Horse and His Boy DVD*: During the intermission, in the Gift Shop area, the lady that accepted donations and encouraged attendees to write their e-mail address for Logos Newsletter said that Logos Theatre hopes to eventually work out a deal with Douglas Gresham in securing the copyright permission to make the DVDs of the Narnia stage plays - nothing has been currently secured right now, but basically, Logos Theatre is both eager and keen on negotiating a deal in near future. I let her know how impressed my family was in the play so far, and asked if we could be informed via e-mail if and when the DVD is ready to be released, and she gave me a second card to write down this request for Logos Theatre, which she kept. It was also confirmed that Douglas Gresham gave Nichole Chavers Stratton, the scriptwriter, permission to do stage play scripts on all 7 books. The Horse and His Boy keepsake program actually had a quote from Douglas Gresham saying that if he had seen Nichole's Prince Caspian script back when they made the Prince Caspian movie, they would have used it for the movie. They've currently done The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and The Horse and His Boy, and I was lastly told that Logos theatre ultimately hopes to do all 7 Narnia stories on stage.
Who is Nichole? I thought we were discussing Chavers.
Fabulous tidings!
Who is Nichole?
@@melindalemmon2149 Nichole is the Artistic Director for the Logos Theatre.
I would put my name on a pre-order list for a DVD/Blu-ray.
