Well there must be four versions of them not three the one I have that a family member carried in Vietnam that has lift the dots style snaps but otherwise identical to the first style you showed
I only have 11 videos with the half screen all of the rest have the full screen

It’s probably a transition piece using up old lit the dot parts
I think the lift dots look more bad to the bone.
