    Thank you for your work and videos, it's really helpful and I think the subjects you cover are what's missing in today's music education, I should've learned that when I was much younger but resources like these were just not available, I mean the book existed but I didn't even know Partimento was a thing or that you could improvise classical music back then and I don't think the teachers I had knew either.

    Dear Richardus, would you care to explain why the Naples masters taught partimento through intervals instead of scale degrees? I know that might sound like oversimplifying but I think it can get really puzzling when the given intervals are in different order than simply counted out from the bass notes. Know what I mean?
