There may be nothing out there in life. No destiny. No god. No heaven or hell. For most of us, we will never know the life outside our Earth. While some think this takes meaning from life, I think it adds to it. There might not be anything for us out there, but there is something here. We can choose to make our existence on Earth pleasant for everyone else. And while there may be no god to ratify it, there are the ones you love, the ones you cherish. And the ones who cherish you. This song makes me so sad it practically brings tears to my eyes. It really does let me see the great capacity for love and grandeau humanity has, but at the same time I know that humanity will never be able to reach it because of our neglect. Such a perfect world, such a travesty.
When I first heard this song I told myself I need better headphones to enjoy this. I stepped out and bought a 300 dollar headphone. That was the best investment in my life so far.

I was thinking more a young, just initiated warrior that went to get something for his town just to come back to find it burned and every person he knew and loved in it dead, and he goes out to avenge them, but it feels hollow, it's not what was right, or what needed to be done, and so he decides to create instead of destroying even more.

And listening to this song is praying for him to come back home safe.

Tuong Ngo Just my 2 cents : I don't think our planet needs to be protected more by us than flees need to protect the dog they suck the blood from. I think that Earth and life will always survive whether we manage to wipe ourselves and the current biosphere out of it or not. like it happened before and will happen again in the future. It's really a question of point of view as we tend to over-estimate our importance as a specie ;). Good song BTW !

He is paranoid because the other races around him are trying to kill him when all he wants is to live a peaceful life in happiness. This is the cruelty every living thing has to go through at some point in life. When something wants to eat or kill you and all you want is peace. Peace has been murdered.
