- VIRTUAL TIP JAR IN DESCRIPTION! Amazing instrumental from Robben Ford! "Cannonball Shuffle" is Robben's tribute to the great Freddie King. Robben is one of the great Blues/Rock guitarists but has a illustrious background playing jazz guitar with artists such as Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell and George Harrison. I love how he effortlessly mixes that jazz element into his playing. Learn all of these parts and then look for Part 2 soon where I break down the 4 verses of the solo. Happy Jamming to ya!

Thanks Stephen! Glad you're enjoying the videos
I am indeed. I bought Time to Burn when it was released and have admired your playing ever since. Could you do a Johnny Winter shuffle? His rhythm playing is often very good and hard to figure out.
Jake first off thank you for doing this lesson. I have been wanting to learn this for a long time. I have been playing a long time but have such hard time learning songs. My ear is not that great thank you again got the meat if it down tonight now I can get polished.
Very cool John! So glad you're enjoying it. I definitely plan on doing the solo soon so look out for that. Thanks for the support!

Thanks Luis!
Superb
Thank you! Cheers!
Great video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Woop, there it is. We lost Robben to Nashville. So, sad. Rock on!
Thanks for watching Edward!
Great pickin’
Early in his career Robben Ford backed Jimmy Witherspoon, so he truly was originally a blues based guitarist. And he went on to become one of the all time guitar masters for sure, but I must say I'm going to try and learn your cover rather than the original, because it sounds more "raw" in a good, bluesy way!
Thanks so much!
Very cool..what kinda guitar is that?
Thanks! That's my all original 1962 Gibson-ES 335
He slides on the turnaround...
Good point!
Man, this is amazing! Great, great video. Thanks so much!
FWIW, I noticed on this live video: ruclips.net/video/EIhDx5XKRXg/видео.html
on the 5 chord, it looks like it's a slide on 3rd string up to 7th fret and hit open E (rather than a bend and hit E note on B string). Kind of ties it in with the open E on the first two phases, guy is amazing.
Yesss! Thanks Steve!
Thank you for posting these videos. I really learned a lot from watching and (trying) to play along with them. I don't know if you take requests, but if I could make one, it would be for Tab Benoit's "Moon Over the Hill". ruclips.net/video/4Iowfo5BQoc/видео.html Thanks again!
