I think a restaurant is always a great Idea near the entrance and it means you can use outdoor seating as a way to keep the view through to the palm house! Maybe it's even a curved building to mirror the lake a little. I am absolutely loving this series!
Simple but elegant! I love the lake, and I think I agree with the restaurant on the other side rather than trying to squeeze another animal in. I feel like a restaurant would make it easy for you to preserve the view.
The views are just immaculate in this zoo 😍 I like the idea of a restaurant on the other side-maybe with a more formal rose garden? You could have peacocks roaming around in it, almost like a fancier hedge maze.
I wasn't too interested in the swans prior to that pack coming out, but they are actually a favorite. Great addition to the game. Love the habitat you created. Perfect match for the Palm/Madagascar House.
Love it, I would say to put some periwinkle weed at some edges of the lake, and some moss decals on the lake floor, i think it's a tiny touch that will improve it so much!
To add another keeper gate, I add a null barrier section (about 6m by 4m) along where I want to add the new gate. I then add the new keeper gate into that section, and then slowly move the null barrier closer to the new keeper gate, until the game thinks that the animals won't "escape", although in sandbox, it doesn't really matter.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I know it might get boring to build in the same style repeatedly, but dang, you're so good at the detailed classical 1850s style that I could watch you build an entire zoo like that. (With weirdly futuristic guests... what is this scandalous fashion?)
Amazing build :-) a typical Stadtpark, but you need a Fountain^^ Wasserspiele around the Statue, when I remember in Austria sehr are so many of them. The Café from Zoo Schönbrunn was such a beautiful and wunderful spot
another beautifull build! i think a botanical garden, with maybe a peaufowl(or some grazing animal at the) would fit the area, and keep the view. like the outside area of jardins des plants in paris.
If you were to put an animal opposite to the swans, I think the natural thing would be peafowl. Maybe make it some sort of statue garden or hedge garden? You could even have a restaurant overseeing it. A restaurant with a garden would certainly match the old timey theme Bellemont Zoo has
i think a hoofstock habitat could work well on the other side of the madagascar house. it wont block the view since its all low foliage and wont take much time to construct.
@BeastNugget44Main The key really is to keep practicing. I first got the game in Feb. of 2020 and even with the tutorials struggled to the point where I quit after 2 weeks. Then once the aquatic pack was leaked later that year, the excitement of getting animals that dive pushed me to try again. Ive been playing ever since, and I'm finally at a point where I'm happy with my builds. Just don't give up!
I know you've done a bit on how you plan a habitat, but how do you plan your zoos? The animal choices always feel so perfect and everything meshes together so well
A restaurant would be nice, maybe in a smaller repurposed glass house, and it could be more a cafe style than restaurant with a lot of outdoor sitting ?
What was the Great Forest again? (You could see it on a sign in the cinematics at the end.) Did I forget about that or is it a hint about what we will see in the future in this series?
What a great habitat, im sad abt the change but atleast its still going, and btw i think u should make a habitat for a fox or pallas cat (doesnt make sense geographically) but they do really fit in the theme i think
Do you think the other side of the lawn is a good place for a Folly? Maybe made into a cafe and/or a peacock walkthrough? P.S. I see peafowl has been suggested a lot already!
I know you're doing something different and just putting swans but I still like an extra bird enclosure like the one in Geneva we talked about a while ago :) (I'm shamelessly plugging it I know!)
I noticed that you're not putting in any habitat entrance signs/education boards for the animals. If I'm not mistaken, i see you only put the colourful Africa sign so far and not any other sogns.. What's the idea behind that choice?
Heyo! I find this habitat really cool, it feels very dynamic next to the tropical house, although it makes it look a bit small. I find it a small shame that Liberty Lake is the current focus of the channel, since I'm not the biggest Planet Coaster fan. A little update on my zoo; the entrance and first habitats are in; the entrance is basically a recreation of the Löwentor (which means lion's gate in German), our first animals are banded penguins!
What a beautiful build for beautiful birds! That view at the end is just… 🤌 The new schedule is totally understandable; gotta take advantage of the surge of Planco viewership! As for what I think could go on the other side of the lawn: maybe some Red Foxes?
Love the idea of a restaurant on the other side. Makes sense to have one so near the entrance
Yeh

That's a great idea! Thanks!
I was ready to riot in the streets if that fake gate wasn’t on the workshop, such a practical piece!!
Hah enjoy it!
Simple but elegant! I love the lake, and I think I agree with the restaurant on the other side rather than trying to squeeze another animal in. I feel like a restaurant would make it easy for you to preserve the view.
Thanks Tony, still considering!
The views are just immaculate in this zoo 😍 I like the idea of a restaurant on the other side-maybe with a more formal rose garden? You could have peacocks roaming around in it, almost like a fancier hedge maze.
Yeh Peacocks are being considered, need to keep thinking!
Peafowls in a rosarium@@ZSHplays
it’s cool to know that even a planet zoo master like you is still learning techniques
Always learning!
I wasn't too interested in the swans prior to that pack coming out, but they are actually a favorite. Great addition to the game. Love the habitat you created. Perfect match for the Palm/Madagascar House.
Thanks!
I think a deer park with Fallow Deer and Peafowl would fit the vibes I'm getting from this build. Maybe put a restaurant in the back ground?
I'm considering Peafowl, maybe Deer could work!
Oh wow, that would gorgeous and peaceful
Now this is the kind of place I would love to just chill and hang out in for hours!
The swan habitat is so beautiful and magnificent too
Thanks!
Just sat down with dinner what perfect timing ❤
Enjoy!
Love it, I would say to put some periwinkle weed at some edges of the lake, and some moss decals on the lake floor, i think it's a tiny touch that will improve it so much!
Can't believe I forgot the periwinkle! One of my favourite pieces 😁
The Madagascar House is truly a masterpiece
Thank you!
every time ZSH uploads it inspires me to restart my planet zoo phase
Hahah! Have fun 😆

I then add the new keeper gate into that section, and then slowly move the null barrier closer to the new keeper gate, until the game thinks that the animals won't "escape", although in sandbox, it doesn't really matter.
Ooh that a clever idea
Thank you honestly so much for these videos! You have given me so much inspiration for my own builds & im actually getting semi good at it 😂❤️
You are most welcome!
This is absolutely gorgeous. I know it might get boring to build in the same style repeatedly, but dang, you're so good at the detailed classical 1850s style that I could watch you build an entire zoo like that. (With weirdly futuristic guests... what is this scandalous fashion?)
Haha, wouldn't be cool to be able to select an era for the guests
I think a deer walkthrough would be nice, or maybe a retrofitted enclosure for another animal, like the raccoons in St Bernardino!
Both good ideas!
Amazing build :-) a typical Stadtpark, but you need a Fountain^^ Wasserspiele around the Statue, when I remember in Austria sehr are so many of them. The Café from Zoo Schönbrunn was such a beautiful and wunderful spot
Thanks!
ZSH Its my birthday today! this video was kinda like a extra gift. Such a chill build
Happy Birthday! Hope you're having a great day!
@ZSHplays Thank you
Only ZSH unhinged enough to make a non functional keeper gate that none of us would have even noticed if it was there or not XD
Hah, that's the PZ way 😆
another beautifull build! i think a botanical garden, with maybe a peaufowl(or some grazing animal at the) would fit the area, and keep the view. like the outside area of jardins des plants in paris.
Great idea!
I’m jealous of how good this guy is at this gane
❤

Great idea, already considering the Peafowl
Great job as always ZSH!
Thanks!
i love how you take time to read and comment on comments😁
I am also very good at spelling names 😉
i think a hoofstock habitat could work well on the other side of the madagascar house. it wont block the view since its all low foliage and wont take much time to construct.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Aldabra tortoises could work because they only need a fence as tall as the biggest ones shell, and they graze on grass.
Model looks too bad compared to the new Tortoise now I've seen it 😢
@ it’s not too bad, Aldabra tortoises are very smooth, whilst spurred tortoises are very rough.
love the designs brother!!
Thanks!
Every time i watch you i redownload planet zoo then i delete it after a couple days when i realize how bad i am at it
Haha, the key I to not delete it and keep going
@ZSHplays wish it was like that, I have so many creative and cool ideas but when I start up the game it's just blank in my mind.
@BeastNugget44Main The key really is to keep practicing. I first got the game in Feb. of 2020 and even with the tutorials struggled to the point where I quit after 2 weeks. Get a notebook and write it down! @@BeastNugget44Main
Same here I own almost all the dlcs cuz I keep have dreams of grandeur but then I suck and delete it again
I love this habitat I would love to see some more Eurasia animals
There getting a whole area in the zoo!
I absolutely love it it's just perfect how much practice do you have on this game you so good. If I tried it would just look goofy
Thanks, 3 years practice 😆
Wow that's a lot I only got 1 year good but not as good as you
I know you've done a bit on how you plan a habitat, but how do you plan your zoos? The animal choices always feel so perfect and everything meshes together so well
Years of going to real zoos and lot of thinking!
Im amazed again fascinating
Thanks!
Will everything go back to normal when lake liberty is finished?
Depends how I feel and how my PC2 series goes. We may return to PZ full time, it may be a mix of the two.
@@ZSHplays you could alter from planet coaster to planet zoo each week, like planet coaster one week, and planet zoo the next week.
Beautiful building❤
Thanks!
I think Its nice you are slowing down on pz for now and focusing on pc2 because I need my inspirstion from someone when I get the game 😅 😂
Haha, cool
I feel like a peacock maze would work well on the other side
Maybe flamingos on the other side with another reflecting pool esc vibe to it
Nice idea, thanks!
Im Here for the Bellemont zoo video
A restaurant would be nice, maybe in a smaller repurposed glass house, and it could be more a cafe style than restaurant with a lot of outdoor sitting ?
Mm sounds good!
I’m actually really excited for lake liberty. Which Is wired because I’m not really a theme park person ❤
Aw that's great to hear!
What was the Great Forest again? (You could see it on a sign in the cinematics at the end.)
Did I forget about that or is it a hint about what we will see in the future in this series?
It mainly a name I made up to put on the sign but there will be a forest section
What a great habitat, im sad abt the change but atleast its still going, and btw i think u should make a habitat for a fox or pallas cat (doesnt make sense geographically) but they do really fit in the theme i think
Pallas's Cat will be coming but not in this area, I have big plans for them!
@ well there is always the red fox
What a beautiful design, although, there was something to be said for that classic expanse of striped grass.
It looked nice but I don't think I've ever seen that much empty space in a zoo!
Have you tips for making a perfect habitat? I have never seen a bad habitat on your channel.
Just the things I explain in my vids really
Do you think the other side of the lawn is a good place for a Folly? Maybe made into a cafe and/or a peacock walkthrough? P.S. I see peafowl has been suggested a lot already!
I do!
Aced it once again❤️
Thanks!
You mentioned an upcoming DLC? Was it the Zookeeper pack that you were referring to?
Can't remember haha! Frontier have confirmed there will be another DLC at least next year
I know you're doing something different and just putting swans but I still like an extra bird enclosure like the one in Geneva we talked about a while ago :)
(I'm shamelessly plugging it I know!)
I'm sure they'll be more birds at some point!
yay! more bellemont zoo!
❤
Wow beautiful
Thanks!
if you do monkyees you can take inspiration from pairi daiza a belgium zoo (ps: love your zoo)
Thanks, yeh Pairi Daiza has excellent theming
peafowl or maybe even badgers could be a good option on the other side?
I noticed that you're not putting in any habitat entrance signs/education boards for the animals. If I'm not mistaken, i see you only put the colourful Africa sign so far and not any other sogns.. What's the idea behind that choice?
They're there, I've been using Lion's signs as I'm finally free from the shackles of the enormous habitat boards now we're in sandbox 😁
Yeh sorry about that, Bellemont will continue though!
@@ZSHplays All good, it's your channel after all.
how do you plan your zoos like areas animals and layout
I have no set method. I'll pick areas I want based on animal choices, then size up rough habitats using the zoopedia and then just muck about with it
It’s my birth month!
Went from Africa to Asia 🦢
If possible you could always make the lake a walkthrough
It is, not sure I have the paths set up right yet though. That damn lawn 😆
@ 😬😬
From what i can make out at 13:57 it says on the sign "great forest" and i think "swan lake" but i cant read what the rest says 😅
The music sounds so unsettling really slow
swan with no lily pads?
There are lilly pads!
I farted and that’s how the Chernobyl disaster happened
It's a shame you can't add your own music to the game, and have Swan Lake playing around it.
You can 😁I think it would annoy me though
We need to have CAMELS in our zoo especially the dromedary my favorite we need to have the camels in our zoo
E
First
Almost!
@ dang keep up the work
1st pls pin
Congrats!
Do you have any tips on scenery and plants?
watch everything I've ever released 😉
flawless self promo@@ZSHplays
I have very ugly zoo’s
Does anyone have some ideas/tips
plastic swans watch now
What a beautiful build for beautiful birds! That view at the end is just… 🤌
The new schedule is totally understandable; gotta take advantage of the surge of Planco viewership!
As for what I think could go on the other side of the lawn: maybe some Red Foxes?
Thanks! Glad you understand! I will bear foxes in mind although they are rarely seen in zoos as they’re so common in urban environments anyway
