Did I saw this right? LP runs on each In Ear mix a: 1. Buss Compressor (4:1), 2. a Multibandcompressor (that does up to -5 dB gain reduction in a broad band between 75Hz-12kHz), 3. a brickwall limiter with up to -9dB gain reduction, 4. a Sonic Enhancer that is mainly used to reduce annoying cymbal bleed, caused most likely due to the insane amount of compression before....seriously?
what did Ken mean in 3:13 with this amp on and off thing that makes the guitar itself sounds huge? could you explain this to me and tell me how it works?
Each guitarist has two amps, with one on to start with, and when they want the sound to get bigger the second amp comes on in combination with the first.
Indeed in most waves plugins the analog function is only for recreate noise floor (like cla2a and 76) , but the ssl comp and ssl channel don't recreate any noise floor, the analog function is for different behavior of the compressor and the eq.
Well, they HAD an idea. Now they have a successful concept. These guys securing the sound for a world top rock act for ten thousands of people and you (and your six comment liker) are who? Doing what? Go and play boy, 11:03 is school
this is great. Do this for more bands! It's incredibly interesting for musicians and geeks alike. Thanks waves!
Pooch and Tater perfect combination

but does it sound good?
yes! I was waiting for this :)
Nice video. Lack of necks is bothersome.
Awesome!

Mike Miller
thx mate :)
Did they actually heard that latency on InEar is the worst thing on stage for the musicians? PlugIns schould not be on Monitors and InEars
thats why they are using Waves Digiigrid systems.. to run plugins with zero latency :)
No it's not zero latency
***** but very close ;)
Not really, in IEM the effects are audible well below 1 ms even.
"using the analog function" these fkn guys-_- that only recreates the noise floor of the analog equipment, a button you'd never want to use live

@@DanielJohn1994 interesting, I didn’t know that. Thanks bro
they really have no idea what theyre doing ffs
