I did a massive declutter of my iPhone apps to hopefully combat my phone addiction or social media addiction.
I realized I wasted sooo much time on my phone, some for good reasons, but most of it was meaningless, and that convicted me.
So here's a video to hopefully inspire you and keep me accountable that I don't want to be attached to my phone, it's already feeling so much better!

Quitting social media is becoming more and more of a thing because people are realizing how addicted they are to their phones. I'm hoping this helps me, or else I will have to do more drastic measures!

Kendra Christine one by one even the social media apps are going. I have my RUclips and Twitter accounts only because they are an online ministry that I have.

I never put the Facebook app on my phone. I still have one, but I have not liked being one there for years mainly because I would get depressed over seeing everyone get engaged, married, or have children with myself staying single all this time.

You totally should!! And I agree, the Bible apps at least have a higher purpose in our lives, so it’s not time wasted :)
Kendra Christine I actually did something similar to this some months ago with RUclips leaving channels that I would say were just time wasters for me. It was really refreshing cleaning it out.

I don't want something to take away my love for Jesus and have me spend my time on it. Evangelists are supposed to stir up the gift we have and one of the problems we have with other people not listening is their inactivity which can cause our inactivity if we are not careful.
I am really wary of publishers of apps being Spyware.

I didn’t like having to record and keep track of everything I did for workouts and eating on my phone. I still care about fitness but I’m not obsessive about tracking it
