@magma3000 How can you say Dir en Grey is a boring band? Musically and lyrically they are one of the most creative bands this world has ever seen. Every album is a different style of metal/rock/pop and they have some of the most innovative talents I've never seen in any other metal band. On top of that, Kyo is a lyrical genius. His style of poetry compares to that of Edgar Allen Poe's. It's sick, twisted, and comes straight from the part. Not to mention his voice is that of a God.
@magma3000 I don't think any band is trying to copy any other band. It's just a cultural thing. People are stupid to assume bands are trying to copy other bands. Every country has their own style of music that makes patterns. For example America has hard rock bands that sound similar (Like Disturbed, Godsmack, etc). Europe has power metal bands like Blind Guardian, Edguy, etc) and Lucky for Dir en Grey, their music has become so unorthodox that they are practically their own genre by now.
