That is a beautifully straight unrestored Isetta! The only Isettas I've seen for sale were either pristine restored examples, or were reduced to something resembling Swiss cheese.
Your '57 300 Isetta is a beauty and in excellent condition. It deserves to be a daily driver, and maybe it won't be very difficult from the perspective today. I'm going over numerous little thinks on my own Isetta, having a more difficult time with a failing short-term memory, but the Isetta is such a part of me, I think I'm doing okay with it. I just want it to perform well for the eventual next owner. I have wonderful memories of driving this car, enough to last me into eternity. ......... jensen
Hi John, I may have forgotten to say thanks for the signed copies of your book, I have one at home, one at work. I read them completely and re read for reference on not just this Isetta but fixing others as well. Thanks again!
Help Your restoration is great, thanks for videos. I cannot for the life of me figure out the Master Cylinder on mine. The brake connects to what looks like the master cylinder in the same place as it should be. However in the place where you have the cap coming through the floor, I have at the top a large bolt. Any idea why or what this is? We’re there variations?
Can you get the bubble "Z" type you reviewed in a past video in Japan? My friend said he went over there for vacation I guess,he drove one of these (or something similar to that.Probably a kei car) and said the car was still a little to big.
Absolutely one of the best unrestored I've seen. Almost pristine. Give it the love it deserves...
Looks to have lots of potential. Nice that it is red. Worth a small fortune when finished.
Can't wait to see how it comes along
GREAT RIDE...until steep grades come up!

Well, it's good therapy and there's no lack of work! :)
