- Let's talk about the value of an unexpected thank you card! A thank you card, especially to someone who isn't expecting one, can really uplift someone. All the better that it's a handmade thank you card!! Do not under estimate the value of sending a thank you card to those who may not get thanked often enough. I challenge you to make this card today and send it to someone in your community who needs an unexpected thank you card....your local ambulance squad, police officer, school janitor or cafeteria worker or a shut-in in your community!
