Thats the difference between Human's voice and a Vocaloid's. Kaito sounds great, but now I wish he was real, so his voice maybe like this... so beautiful.

It wasn't because of Kaito not being well made because he was the best one at the time (the most advanced of the V1). It was because most of the producers were male who wanted a female voicebank. When people started to pick up male voicebanks, Kaito's was more well rounded out of the very few available and people were more willing to adjust to his engine. ( I believe people liked Kaito better because Len is voiced by a woman, Gackpo was too expensive and didn't sound like his voice provider like advertised, Kiyoteru was too sharp, and VY2 didn't have an appealing box cover)
