I'm so glad you get to enjoy your tea in the morning! Beautiful countryside. I too don't like washing dishes by hand. I'm fortunate to have a dishwasher, and I use Method dish soap for handwashing. ❤

i appreciate that you feed the animals before yourself, respect that, was always taught to do the same.
I made homemade yongurt and strained the weigh. Now all I can think about is starting a farm and living off the land to eating this incredible farm-fresh food. It's so different when you make it all by yourself from scratch. I made pancake batter and the pancakes were to die for. I made macaroni and cheese from scratch and it was incredible.

It definitely gets lower than 20 in nsw in winter, I mean I’m from Victoria so it gets colder but it’s not as pleasantly warm as people like to say 😂

Your location looks beautiful! Seems like it would be very peaceful. I can understand why you wouldn't like doing the dishes, however I'm one of those strange people who enjoys it. It's almost like meditation for me, just the motions of cleaning up and the end result of having a clean kitchen gives me a feeling of accomplishment. I still maintain that it's the reason (also because I cook) why my wife married me. Thank you for another wonderful video!
I agree, the only problem is I take forever to do them, too much of a perfectionist when it comes to the dishes haha

Just trying to figure out where you might be in NSW. I am going to guess and suggest it is likely close to Sydney and therefore what gets described as the Blue Mountains. But there is a north and south section to where it is mostly populated and I think you may be in the northern section. Somewhere like Kurrajong or close to Bell in the Mt Wilson area. If so the broader area is absolutely beautiful. The Mt Tomah botanical gardens would be a visit if you are in this area. I am probably way off target but had to give it a shot. Enjoy your travels wherever you are.
Good luck with the leeches. They are very crafty getting attached to you. Tend to find a way regardless of how you protect yourself. Especially in the shoes.
I like the mountains and spent maybe 15 years in different parts of the Great Dividing Range within NSW. I prefer the southern highlands areas, around Bowral, Mittagong and Moss Vale. Which you will find has a more historically British atmosphere, especially with the gardens. Quite a bit cooler there as well.
Very interesting point you brought up about how our memories of the past can be warped, I think it’s been scientifically proven that they are less reliable than we think. And I also hate washing the dishes, would recommend using gloves to save your hands.

I love that you haven't chosen to stay somewhere touristy, but have chosen a farmstay. I can almost hear the cicadas.
I'm using the Method grapefruit spray at the moment , it's quite nice almost like aromatherapy . The rhubarb sounds so lovely . I've never regretted keeping a diary. Looking back at my life I can see how much I've grown as a person just over the past few years .
Have you found the food more vegan friendly in Australia so far ?
