Negative, that’s a completely different thing. Your parents would need to apply for residency (not military affiliated). The only thing the German government is concerned about through residency is 1) do you have steady income and 2) do you have health insurance? Your parents would obviously need to prove that. After you asked this question, I did some research and spoke to an elderly American couple who went through the process years ago while they were here on their 90 day visa. I think it’s worth creating a future video about, so I’ll look more into resources that can help people get started 👍🏾
Would this also apply those that may have a parent that is a "dependent", (because they are caring for them)?
