Rolling mill is not involved in either step.

didn't see any clean up of the solder seam. did the pattern match?
I was wondering about that myself. You could clearly see the seam. In addition, there appears to be a tiny sliver of metal jutting out at an angle at the seam.
Oh my that’s amazing 🤩 what did you brush it with at the end ? And what did you do to it at the end with that tool and putty to make just the middle so shiny ! It’s a fabulously beautiful ring ❤

How long is the piece of wire you use to start off with? And what size ring on the mandrel do you make with it. I’m trying to get a sense of the amount of wire you need for say a size 7 ring? Thanks very much.

The other guy has a much easier method with less tools and twisting
