- ~Part 2~ I Made These Vintage Era Minis For My Steam Train Carriage / Train Car Video Which You Can Find on My Channel. I Used Materials That I Already Have at Home. From Filter Coffee Filter Bags, Cake / Paper Doilies, Card Etc. Basically a lot of Trash / Rubbish. The Wire is Jewellery Making Wire. The Corrugated Card Can Be Found in Craft Shops and Online. Just Type in Corrugated Craft Card. It's Great For Using on Shapes That Needs Curves. The Sticker Packs I Found on Shein. @@tinycraftlife perhaps your neatness and precision may be a bit rough in earlier videos, but your imagination and creativity are astonishing!
I think that's the only criticism I could find with you, is to concentrate on perfecting the final product, so it is accurate and flawless....but hey! That's just my opinion and I'm not the one brave enough to start my own channel!!! I do think it's especially brave of you to put your own work out there, even more so if you're not confident of some of your work.
I'm a perfectionist myself with anything I make, I am extremely hard on myself about accuracy! So don't take my criticism personally or too deeply. It's just how my brain works and focuses on anything that it doesn't seem "perfection" so it's not something specifically about YOUR work. It doesn't matter if I make something, anyone else does, or if I buy the item in a shop brand new and professionally manufactured, my eyes immediately search for accuracy, neatness of work, precision of symmetry or anything that looks "off".
So it's not specifically aimed at you. But as I say, your imagination, for creating a scene, and capturing every single authentic detail of that scene is a true gift. The train compartment is stunning. All of it, so many details and extra touches to really make the scene look real.
The top hat edge was a little rough, as were the suitcase corners, little tiny bits like that are the only thing I could say you could improve on, just that extra little presentation perfection. I think it's EQUALLY admirable that you're more relaxed about such things too.
I made a friend a miniature fairy garden, and made 7 fully finished fairies - that I threw in the bin - because I was annoyed at myself for not getting them perfect. FINALLY the 8th fairy I was truly proud of, and she was the fairy in the garden.
Like I said, I'm hard on myself and my brain is wired to seek perfection, but I envy those who can go with the flow and aren't hung up on tiny mistakes, I wish I could do that. We're all different, we're all right, and wrong, so don't you be worrying about what other people think, including me!
You just keep giving more of what I've seen so far, because you are good at it. That train compartment is the most impressive miniature "scene" I've seen in a longgggg time! Reminded me of the Hogwarts Express or some scene from an Agatha Christie film.

You are absolutely right about focusing on neatness and the final product. I don't have much time to make my miniatures so I tend to rush my work which is not good and a I do too much. I should focus more on the product than just producing a lot of videos. I don't know what came over me deciding to start a channel with all the editing etc. Madness! 😂 I really appreciate feedback as I know it will make me want to learn more/ improve my skills and focus on the final product. So please, all feedback and criticism is much appreciated! 😄💕

Fantastic. What corrugated card do you use?
Thank you very much😊💕 I bought this card from a craft shop many years ago but you can also find this card online (or craft shops). If you type in corrugated craft card, you should find similar type of card in different colours, thicknesses and also in metallic. Hope this helps!
