A thought came to me as I was watching you make your tree collar, that you can use an old lampshade, cut out the metal pieces across the top of the shade and cover that shade as you have done here. I'm seeing a lot of King of Christmas trees on youtube these days, their trees are fabulous looking. I'm sure they are very high quality! I would love a tree with a power pole instead of all of the plugging and searching every year.
