If they aren't going to benefit from the coaching, practice or play what's the point...please don't say the education...they should have allowed the boys to be with the team and not play in games...they would have been punished still without ostracizing them from the team. But the kids where stupid to do what they did and the college system of athlete-student scholarship is dirty and not about the kids either...People will rally around the brand and the system and throw dirt at the outcast...this too shall pass.
