This video triggered my Honda PTSD! I wrench on my buddies track 2014 Honda CBR1000 (same gen) with PC-V and a IRC QS and manual wire pull blipper. He has the same loom with connectors that can get messed up. 164HP on DynoJet Dyno here with Arko system, so sounds in ball park already. Rather than Yamaha's I lean to Kawi for 600 (i'm 6'2" 240lb) and my primary is a 15-18 gen S1000RR (at least for one more year).
Could the ethanol in the fuel be holding water or causing some mapping issue ? If the injectors where all gummed up it’s something that’s a possibly What do you think to the new Moto GP era bikes ?
Can’t see if it’s clarified in the video, but could that broken wire and/or the broken connector be the cause of the misfire? A loose plug will not help with the stresses a motorbike generates, and the bare wire could be shorting to the frame intermittently as the loom moves about
