Hi Tim, Thanks for endorsing the PLC Professor. I've used his RSLogix 500 manuals. I stumbled across your site and am very impressed. Keep putting out content, it's invaluable. Hats off to you Sir.
Great to hear Ted!
Hey Tim, clicked the links and ordered the books. Been in the game for a few years now ;) (as you know) and I am always looking at how others do things, as automation programming/technology evolves, and been able to learn tips and tricks that others use can help with your own development. Cheers mate, keep up the fantastic work. (and Amber as well)
Great to hear from you Matt, hope things are good down under :)
Hey Tim, I bought those books and honestly were excellent. Thanks for share your knowledge
Glad you like them! I have very few books that I keep in my training center but these are some of them. It really helps the technicians
Thanks for the informative, I will investigate further 💯💯💯💯
Any time!
I like a book called The Industrial Control Handbook (Parr); albeit it's more of a generic control book rather than PLC specific.
He does have another book called Programmable Controllers, that book covers different brands and possibly a bit old now.
Have you got a link to the RSLogix 500 books ? I could not seem to find them through the PLC University website.
I have the 500 book and it's great.
Good to hear!
Do you have any useful reference when having a robot or any Ethernet-IP component (e.g. vision camera) to communicate with PLC ?
No, and we're developing some content for that so we have been looking.
Hi Tim.

Dear Tim,
Could you, please, recommend me a book or some other resource to program PLC to control servo-motors.
What is the real price for Mexico of the book of CCW 1 and 2 in the description does not mention the specific currency?
Check the links in the description.
Rslogix/Studio 5000: How to match firmware and software versions, and frustrate yourself with software installation failures. CCW: One FREE software to rule all compatible hardware.
I really want to try openplc. Need the hardware. I use Linux at home.
Hey Tim! I'm a newly graduate Mechatronics Engineer. I'm interested in getting into the Industrial Automation field, looking forward to learn about both the hardware and software programming. Any tips or advices?
Thanks in advance

Hey, could you please make a video on how to build my own lab for plc? I'm in florida and can't attend your class in person mabe do classes online. Thank you.
You can find our PLC trainers at twcontrols.com/plc-trainers
I've evaluated numerous SCADA systems, primarily for water and wastewater, over the past 33 years. Also developed countless programs myself in every language and using practically every PLC out there. What I find to be the biggest problem with bad control systems is not that the programmer has a lack of understanding of how to use a particular programming package, or how to structure a program properly, but they simply don't understand the process they are controlling. A good programmer should have thorough knowledge of of electrical, instrumentation, programming, and process control. Bad programs arise from programmers who have 2 or less of those attributes.
Good point!
dear could you please help me how i can start SCADA learning?
Do you have a kindle version?
I don't think he does
