    I hear your heart on the FEG absolutely fine weapon in pristine shape’ getting one in that shape with all matching numbers and near perfect holster is a “pinch me I’m dreaming” moment for sure

    I got a P Mod 37M but the finish is garbage. Basically a placeholder until I get a nicer example. Only cool thing is a name carved on the inside of the grips.

    i think a lot of older collectors who are getting up there in age are liquidating their collections. May as well do it while alive to save the family the work when they are gone.

      That is exactly a true statement. Us old guys trying to get a fair price for these collectables while we are still here. If we leave them for family they get royally screwed taking them to a shop to sell.

    • @mikeblair2594
      @mikeblair2594 2 года назад

      @@marktwo3160 Not in my family. There's ten kids and and most of us got a firearm and they're used. My dad thought it was a great joke to give me all his guns that I had defaced the waffenamt when I was a teenager when I was trying to learn hand engraving and had engraved a circle and slash on all Nazi markings. He got a kick out of it, laughed so hard I thought he might rebrake his rib that was starting to heal proper( the dangers of being a logger as I soon learned myself).
      I tried to trade my sister for the 308 that I wanted, but she didn't want a worthless gun. So I hunt with a mauser with the original sights and wood. Try humping that through the Oregon coast range were you are lucky to see twenty feet.

    Thanks for the great videos! I have learned what would take years of doing shows in a month. I just made my first Legacy purchase, a minty plum Walther PP. So when you have people send you guns for videos, they have to re-do their FFL when they get them back, right?

    When you said "look at that contraption" all I could see was a Borchard. Watched the video and thought there's something wrong with my eyes. So I went back to look again. Did you just put that there to trick us?
    Don't get me wrong. I love your content. My only complaint is that we could use more.
    Then again, how many different kinds and variations are there?
    Sooner or later you and Ian will have covered everything known to man.

    They are all beautiful pistols, but personally, none is better than the 1911. If I could, I would collect all the 1911 pistols, although I don't know if I would call it collecting. could be confused with accumulation.😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

    Could the reason that the eagle proof marks are hidden on the Persian Walther, be because it is believed by many Muslims that the depiction of the human or animal form is idolatry and thereby a sin against God that is forbidden in the Qur'an?

  • @mikeblair2594

    I wonder why you didn't make sure that people knew the difference between 9mm Luger and 9mm Browning/380acp? There could be some younger people on here that doesn't know the difference. You could go into the weeds talking about 9mm cartridges through the centuries.

    16:59 That is a hungarian made WW2 pistol the FEG 37 M model but this one is made for the Nazi Germany (mostly regularized for Luftwaffe pilots)
    The German version differs in that the Hungarian version original got 32 caliber has the german import version made version of 7.65 mm, there is an tab at the bottom of the magazine and a separate slide safety on the side
    All this was converted at the request of Germany by the FÉG weapons factory
    Instead of the original Hungarian FEG 37 and was used by the Germans as "Pistole 37 (u) 7.65mm" or "p37"

    • @mikeblair2594
      @mikeblair2594 2 года назад +2

      32 and 765 are the same caliber.

    Funny, an Expert, which isn't possible to pronounce the name of the product, he is presenting.
    It's name is WALTHER, and not Wolther....PePeKa, and not PiPiKey.
    Americans have always the bad idea, to create own pronounces for foreign names, towns and countries.
    In Deutschland you can find this phenomen by people without any knowledge.
    So it is funny for us.
