I love my P-Funk and bands like WAR and I’ve been lucky enough to see most of them live here in the UK I would give anything to have seen Brass Construction live back in the day What a band They are by far the best funk band ever Thanks for sharing this clip
I still have my stereo system from this era including my Bose 601 phase 2 speakers. Bought my stereo in Weisbaden Germany back in 1974. Hasn't let me down yet!!!!! It'll last my lifetime 💯👍🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
If all of you are wondering what happen to bands like this ? Here is what happened , Back in the 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's ,70's , 80's All inner city public schools were funded and had fine arts and liberal arts programs . Of these the most popular were music programs , thats right you could actually learn a basic instrument and be in the band or a band and thats how and why these fantastic musicians came to be in the inner city . BUT then in the 90's the STates stopped funding those arts programs thinking that we need to only fund math and reading programs and did away mostly with music in the inner cities schools that left the kids with only Rapp and hip hop music to lean on and now we are here .........😢😢😢
When in the 40s to 80s they use to have Band in school many of our Funk legends honed their skills also Church. Many self contained Bands and individuals
