Food for thought: The trams and even the trains appear to be electric. So they shouldn't make near as much pollution. The only way to make it really matter is to use 4 lane roads everywhere, then later upgrade them to 4 lanes with tram tracks. Also, the two lane roads take up two squares, and the 4 and 6 lane take up four. So you can drop four, then downgrade, you don't lose zone-able area.
Sam Wyatt weeeeell Fluxtrance, Stricttoaster etc. are on another level when it comes to building and designing a realistic city but Imperial Jedi has an awesome mix of decorating and "playing like the average player"
It's more than just building the city.. you've gotta enjoy everything about the channel.. Too many good gamers on RUclips with horrible commentary or none at all.
I love your setups! It would be cool if you curved some of the roads when building into the mountain side. I think it would make it look much more fluid instead of boxy-like.
Hey, i love you videos. You never leave anything out. So with that being said. Bridges, have you ever done a custom one? When i try to look for a video for it all i get is that bonbon guy, and its ok however i feel like hes talking to a more advanced player and some mods he uses dont exist anymore. I would love it if you could do a video on that. thanks man keep it up!!
If/when you do decide to destroy the town, please do earthquakes/sinkhole/asteroids first. Then follow it up with a tsunami to see what new lake/rivers get formed. Thanks mate.

I’d like to suggest „Bur Avenue“ for the street with the residential bus route on it in honor of the one and only other god in this game (Sam would be proud of that perfect bus route accessible to almost every resident, by the way...).
jedi please give us videos quicker if at all possible, i leav this tab perma opened so that ill know the second ep 3 comes out, if you could do a vid a day or at least every other day, YOUD BE THE BEST RUclipsR FOR CITIES EVER. You have the best content and comentary but i have to watch others because they make more than one vid per day.

Just downloaded the Windows 10 version a couple days ago, and I'm working this one city based on the Tropical map with the outflow pond one side of the initial highway connect... Anyway, basically turned that whole section into the "necessary evils" area (landfills, prison, sewage, shit like that), which has, of course, led to the problem of the garbage in the opposite direction. My solution: one-way tunnels with branches onto the inside of a few double-length blocks (it's still a tight fit, but you can usually get away with it by surfacing to a gravel loop)
Great work, as always! Just a small tip or suggestion, if you don't mind. When zoning a future "green district", I would pause the game so that, when you're done zoning, you can apply the self-sufficient specialization without having the residents tear down their house and rebuild. I usually pause, zone, apply district specialization, and then un-pause. Awesome job nonetheless!
The Express bus route seems misplaced to me. Where you originally considered its stop from the red line made sense, and while its current placement might be excellent for picking up cims who travel in from the new neighborhood you just built, as it is now, the cims will ride the red bus to the express route stop, hop on the new bus and then pass back by the stops they just went to. I would be a very annoyed cim. haha Good to see more content and best of luck getting all the new rig kinks out. ;)
DharmaSims I get you point but since the spot he chose is meant to become a transport hub, I believe it is the right position. The city will be growing, especially in the cemetery area, hence there may be an additional bus line, hence it would be nice to not go down the main road just to connect up with the express bus or avoid changing the bus two times in a row.

You should do more traffic/ road "tutorials" since that's what I struggle with in this game. Apparently I never got Natural disasters when it released so I got when it was on sale the other day and have been having fun blowing up cities.
I currently have the regular bus depot with a lot of routes. My city as about 76k population. Can I upgrade that depot with the bio bus depot without redoing all my lines? Is there a simple upgrade option?

You may or may not have an answer to this as I know this LP is mod/asset free but, do you know of a way to get the 4 lane roads without the median in the middle? Most of the main 4 lane roads in my town don't have a median with the exception of a strip of U.S. route that runs through my town. Any insights to this would be appreciated! Thanks!
Christina Jaros have a glance at Network Extensions 2 (by Bloody Penguin, I guess. But I’m not sure...), this mod offers narrow four lane roads (2+2, 3+1 and unidirectional). They would be without median. Or use six lane roads if they or not way overkill, they come with the game itself.

For a waterfall if you dont care if its main made, use the fresh water outlets inside a dam after using pumps to drain the reservoir

Something that really bothers me is you don’t ever use curves so your roads end up at 90 degrees or greater angles and it’s so unrealistic

does the mass transit DLC have elevated metro subways or is that only in mods
Only available with mods.. but you'll need the DLC for those mods to work :)

Can you build a dam on your map? That should be a staple of a green city.
