Crazy thing is my father was just watching a movie with Omar Epps and Gabrielle Union a few hours ago and I was telling him how much of a crush I had on Nia Long and Jada Pinkett in the 90’s. Everything that was said by Nia Long 💯, what I hate always have is the fact that people tend to forget who opens the doors for you or puts up with the bullshit so the next generation can have it easier! No lie, Jasmine Guy,Lisa Bonet, and Halle Berry were the African American women of the 80’s and I did still find them attractive but Nia Long and Jada Pickett are closer to me in age(32) so I got older they were the ones I’d seen on TV. So I loved them and still do. But I don’t like when all the Bullshit with actors talking about how they are difficult to work with they aren’t! They just know what they like and who they are! Not discrediting Taraji J Henson or Gabrielle Union but without the women mentioned there would be no none of them!

This lady did my makeup and I ended up looking like a Oompa Loompa! I told her I have more yellow undertones and my makeup always oxidized. I ended up washing my makeup off and doing it over myself. After years of doing my makeup and getting it done i know what looks best on me. So that's not being a diva that's knowing your beauty. In a interview Beyonce said the same thing she knows how she wants her hair and makeup done.

That black person is taking a stand for its self. not all women and men or willing to bow down for a mighty dollar. they know if they defend themselves or speak up that there's a chance you won't get a chance to make no money . or you might lose your job . that's how some of your strong black men ended up in dresses! because of the old Mighty Dollar. So so when it comes down to bold black women and men that stand their ground to protect themselves. then the masses let the people decide whether these kind of people should be ostracized! Let's not forget her and her husband acting a fool on the set of Almost christmas battling the lead producer of the film, who happens to be black i might add. Please. At some point, you have to look in the mirror and see what it is you can change and what it is you need to take responsibility for. Every single issue isn't a race issue or gender bias, although it is VERY real in Hollywood and otherwise. Mo'nique brought up very real and hurtful issues and trauma that the black community has never gotten over, and tried to equate that with the fact that Netflix wouldn't fork over millions and millions of dollars.
