The Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake incident. I don’t understand after all these years. How it was Janet Jackson’s fault!!!?? Justin Timberlake ripped off the part of her clothes and only she was blamed. He committed the physical act and she was blamed unbelievable.
And he got off scot free! The biggest, most blatant double standard, right there. How is him ripping off the wrong part of her costume, her fault? It was bullshite then, and still pisses me off today. I’ve never liked, Justin Timberlake, since this incident. I didn’t really have a high opinion of him before it, but this just solidified my gut feelings about him: sleezeball.

1:26 what happened to Janet Jackson is insane!! All the hate and repercussions she received were beyond unfair! It was an accident and it wasn't even her fault!! The whole thing was completely exaggerated... I cannot believe what they had done to her after that show...
Especially when Justin didn’t get any hate for actually being the one to tear off her costume wrong. He was only supposed to tear off the top layer. She didn’t expose herself, but they all acted like she did, and he was just an innocent standing next to her. It was so ludicrous and maddening to witness. I’ve never been a Justin fan, but this made me despise him, because he didn’t stand up for her or take the blame for taking her top off. Which we all saw him do.
