Random ideas: - maybe go back and look at stuff you liked as a kid, and haven’t touched since - poke around on Tumblr or other websites and look at aesthetics you haven’t seen before - perhaps you could listen to a music station, and design a character based off of the songs :P These probably aren’t very good ideas, but they help me sometimes.

If art block and being unsure about what to draw and maybe how people will view it is your issue, you might want to try out a personal doodle book? You get a sketch pad or notebook and draw in it, practice, and just, unwind- just keep in mind this would be for you and for you only, no one else has got to see it. Just draw whatever you feel like, and enjoy what you like to enjoy. Of course if you enjoy doing something else then maybe you should let go to that too :) whatever you think is best and most comfortable is the best. TLDR; try what you personally enjoy :)
