Live Tonight on Millennium Stage: Kings Return is a vocal band of brothers: Gabe Kunda, Vaughn Faison, J.E. McKissic, and Jamall Williams. The Dallas, Texas-based a cappella group was formed unintentionally in 2016 after first singing together for Gabe’s college graduation recital. Their popularity grew when they began posting videos to social media from the stairwell where they rehearse. Kings Return has amassed almost 10 million views across all platforms and has been recognized by artists and brands such as Emily King, Anita Baker, Anthony Anderson, Joyce DiDonato, Apple, NPR, Dallas Morning News, and so many more.
Avoiding the confines of a single genre, Kings Return’s sound is proudly born out of gospel, jazz, R&B/soul, and classical music. “The name Kings Return is a reflection of ourselves. We are Kings who go forth to conquer but most importantly we return to give back to our community.”

Absolutely amazing!! For those criticizing - it may not be obvious to you how hard it can be to perform a cappella and being able to hear each other is critical amongst other things. Great job guys! So inspiring!

Ignore the negative comments on here, you guys are incredible. This rawness is better than the absolutely perfectly recorded mimed videos.

I’m always Amazed at the variation of the flow and synchronized beats. The harmonic a-cappella tempo is so soothing and simply beautiful ♥️♥️♥️♥️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯

Студийные записи во много раз эффектней. Здесь, к сожалению, проблемы интонирования, иногда, очень заметны...

Either the acoustics is a challenge or the recording is not on point. Usually this group sounds excellent.

That's the difference between live and Studio recording... I'm a big admirer of their Art and a loyal patreon Support, but unfortunately this Performance wasn't on point - the highly complex arrangements bear more responsibility for this than the acoustic framework... let's be Patient and give the beautiful bud time to fully develop!

Yeah, sounds like they were having an off day overall. Someone in particular was off pitch more than others. First song was pretty off, then the Silent Night song had a few challenges...might be an issue with the in-ear monitors or they just need to tighten up their live harmonies, they are pretty intricate and one or two folks can throw the whole song into disarray. They'll probably get better with live performances as they do them more.

Two of the group were touching their earpieces before they begun - I have a feeling they can’t hear themselves - Alto and Soprano all off pitch. Yet, I’ve just hear this group perform in a stairwell and they were perfection. Go figure
