The name of this song is "Spider Walk", a dark, gloomy acoustic blues instrumental in E minor tuning (EBEGBE) with guitar tabs included. I'm always interested in feedback on my songs, so if you have any thoughts, questions or suggestions on the song, tabs or tuning, please let me know in the comments.
@@opentuningguitar It's very Skip James-esque, he played most of his 1931 records in Open D minor. This is definitely the blues and it would be unfair to say it isn't. mod0049 probably think blues is always a twelve bar with a swing.
@@die-Bienen-des-Dunkelheit Yeah, a lot of my favorite blues songs are just spare acoustic guitar. I think Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground might be the best blues song ever written, but it doesn't sound like stereotypical blues. Any Skip James songs or albums you can recommend?
@@opentuningguitarFor albums: Today! (1966), Devil Got My Woman (1968) and The Complete 1931 Session. Songs: Hard Floor Killing Blues, Devil Got My Woman, Illinois Blues. Dark Was The Night is an archetypical blues, the best slide song ever. The issue is what people think of blues, is really rock with blues elements in it and that's a shame because they are missing out on some beautiful art.

Ooooh, very sinister sounding. I dig it!
Thank you!
Sounds kinda like old Opeth songs, great
I haven't listened to them before. Any songs or albums you could recommend? Thanks.
@@opentuningguitarBlackwater Park and Damnation are quite nice.
@@Mucannn I'll check them out. Thanks!
Soooo good 😎✌️
Thanks a lot!
Awesome!!!
Thanks so much!
You should try BEBEBE tuning. Nick Drake used it in a few of his songs.
I'll check it out. I love Nick Drake, but I've never learned any of his songs. Thanks!
Good stuff, new subscriber and like 👍
I'm glad you like it. And thanks for subscribing!
Wouldn't call it blues.
Yeah, fair enough. I started writing it as a blues song, but it kind of morphed into something else, though there's still some blues notes in there.
@mod0049 It's definitely blues based dark acoustic music, I wouldn't call you a knowledgeable musician
