In celebration of the month of August as “Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa,” and as “Buwan ng Kasaysayan,” the Museo Diocesano de Pasig presents another special feature for this year, “SAPLOT ng KASAYSAYAN: Isang Sulyap sa Tunay na Bihis ng Pilipinas.”
From the collections of Catanuan, Quezon’s Mr. Rommell Padillo Serrano (Artistic Director of Kalilayan Folkloric Group), it will showcase a world-class assemblage of Filipiniana ensembles and their unique accoutrements - each telling a story of how garments once used to be the silent language of our ancestors, a fusion of history, artistry, and identity.
