I bought this book like 10yrs ago, I think, it's in my bookcase somewhere, and never had a read. Thankful that its on YT, cos audiobooks are how I consume my scifi now. I really like the story now that I've gotten around to listening to it. Thank you Mr Falconer
What a pleasure, stumbling on your audio books site in the wee hours. Lots of intriguing titles that I presume will make good listening! Thank you, thank you, much appreciated!
Alright my huckleberry... You outdid yourself with the not alone: origins. Your storytelling is top notch and I was hooked from the walker story to the trey story... good show o' boy, good show lol We appreciate you
There are some Narrators who can really give each character their own voice and James Patrick Cronin is one of them. I'm so glad he narrated the whole series, long book series can sometimes swap to a new Narrator half way through.
I got into books during the lockdowns and really love this series. Although they have flaws, I love the characters so much. Most of the time I would listen to one, then pick one from a different genre then go back to the Not Alone series again. Then I listened to 4-7 back to back because I was hooked. The only reason I listened to other books between 8 and 9 was to build my anticipation and not to take a break. James Patrick Cronin does a great job giving each character a voice.
@Nope Franks I do fall asleep to things, white noise really helps me drop off quickly. But i listen to things I’ve experienced before, I like to try and be able to pay attention to things.
@@Foxiepawstotti If he'd tried to do a Welsh accent instead he'd probably have felt a little more accurate. Although I reviewed every book on audible, what I didn't say in my youtube comment was how original the world-influencing characters were. World leaders weren't just lazy allegorical copies of real-life ones.
Well Craig, you definitely deserve a whole lot more subscribers. These were great and James Patrick Cronin was amazing in bringing it to life with all the nuances! Bravo!!
It's legitimate, I uploaded it and I own the text and production copyrights. There shouldn't be any gaps - at what points did you notice them? Thanks for listening!
This is really great! Thank you, I subscribed. However being a Scot, your narrator does a passable Irish accent. Also John O'Groats may be the most Northerly Mainland point but its not the most northerly point in the British Isles.
I'm an hour in and, if you don't count the shepherd conversations at the beginning, there's a very small amount of conversation by the characters, feels like 98% narration in a retrospective style. Perfectly fine for world building or giving details, but it takes a bit away from the driving of the story, loss of that sense of urgency. Getting a bit distracted by other things, so I think I should pause and come back when I can focus more on the plot.
T hurso, Pontypridd?!? As an oddball American, I do know where they are and have ridden a bike through both. What's the next small UK town to be mentioned? How about Lostwithiel cornwall
I feel the same way. The info dump made me feel like this wasnt the first book in the series. I actually stop and looked at the description again thinking I may have started at Book Two or something. Plus, the author keeps repeating some of the same points, like ALOT.
Great story & the narrator is really good, although I think his Welsh accent is showing a definite Swedish tinge. ;) How do you spell the name of the planet on the other side of the gate?
Thank you for your audiobooks. Well thought out and very poignant to today’s political situation. The Seeds series gave me thought that it was about Musk’s aspirations to chip everyone.
Thank and thank you for using mr. Crohnan as narrator.

Really enjoying the book. Thanks for putting it out on RUclips
Thank you for sharing! Your books are so intelligent and engaging and informing. Such a powerful combination.
Thank you! A companion for my ebooks :) Great series!
Really enjoying this. Thank you for this high quality treat.
This a fantastic story Mr Falconer! I've ordered the first 3 books. Bright Blessings!
I listened to all of them on audiobook. Even though they had flaws, i fell in love with the characters so much.
im going to listen to this series sober, and then a 2nd time on lsd 😁
also, really great story so far mr. falconer!
Mushrooms are better than lsd for stories like this.
Great voice actor/narration.

Yes that narrator is ok but his Scottish accent comes from the wrong side of the Irish sea.

I’m from Glasgow. The Scottish accent here is fine!
Wonderful fast moving story. Thank you

What an amazingly thought out book. Really had me intrigued from the outset.
Cheers from Milwaukee! I liked the previous books.
Brilliant!!!
I hope you still look at your comments a year later because you rock.
The first book that i've listen to, I would like to listen to more of them I see more they are short would like to have more thank you so much
Why dont you download it from the internet
which books come before this one? it seems to reference rather specific things in the past.
Gripping from the outset, good narration too..cheers 🇬🇧
God has given you one face, and you make yourself another.
I doubt this is legitimate uplod theres sound gaps
Ungortunately, good for eceryone that still enjoyed it!!

They do say “Mainland Britain”.
Being Irish, I'd have to disagree lol
The "Welsh" accent used in this is absolutely terrible 😔, I feel for you all! 😉
Being Scots and Irish this is a good story ruined by poor accents - gonnae no dae that, eh no😁😁
There’s nothing wrong with the Scottish accent here. I know, I’m from Glasgow.
Good book
Does everyone habe these cracking sounds in between when theres a little silence moment

Where does one make a comment regarding a series of books without having to duplicate the comment on each publication?
Is this the first book in a series? A lot of info first minutes. So just asking. Thank you

@@thecraigfalconer Thanks! :) I kept hearing a mispronounced "Coeur d'Alene" (probably because I had the misfortune of living there for a while, lol).
Welsh tinge 😂😂😂😂obviously never been to wales
Definitely not welsh
It's the worst Welsh accent I've ever heard but did make me laugh the story is good tho
Senior Falconer, mille gratzi!
How do I stop the adds, I've subscribed to the author
bit slow and waffel too much, but reasonable quality and well read....

No wonder I was so lost, this is book 7 but the title says book 1 of a trilogy. Really threw me off
You know where the rest are. I was lost.
Book 2 ?
stay tuned- within the next week!
Says 2 unavailable videos are hidden 🙈
@@lisajames2097 Yeah the sequels are "there" on my YT library but they're not ready to go live yet. #2 is going live tomorrow :-)

Should be Peter instead of "Piper" 🙄 these are annoyingly misaligned times.
