He also has a Patreon page where he publishes more of his storytelling work. He stated on his Instagram (@r.m.vernon) that he plans on doing more music once his Patreon becomes a stable thing. So these are a few ways to support our dear Doctor.

I found this song the day before my mothers cancer got so bad that she had to be put in the hospital. I actually wanted to show her this song but didn't have the time. I’m really sorry for your loss. I hope you are better or at least getting better slowly. I lost my best friend to cancer and know how hard it can be. I lost my mother to COVID a few years ago too. Loss can be painful but you are still here. Which is a good thing.
If he made a return in the 2020's he'd conquer honestly. I find a lot of newer music shares his vibe and sound from people of earth. With the right funding you could make so much from his world building as well and the merchandise would have been amazing but what he made before was in short supply and not quite branded enough. With a loyal fanbase and and a half finished unreleased album he has a good foundation. Just wish he's make more music videos and though he hates live performances that Dr. Phibes est robot band would look good in hologram and so would he, no doubt. Animated music videos and the resurrection of his show would be the dream and I even envision an evil con carne like television series with rick & morty vibes but more robbing banks and going on revenge tirades than world jumping. He's real, raw, and mad with a great fantasy imagery.

Basically he was impatient and expecting his then-girlfriend to do all the work; my personal take is that if all that is true, then he was way too much of a man-child to keep going and to turn the project into a success, so then it all failed financially. Another version of things I derived from parts in there is burnout, he could not keep going, it was all way too much for him.
REALLY wish we had gotten more music videos like this before he retired... tbh the cgi robots along with his over the top personality make him seem like he escaped from a spy kids movie lmao
there is a video on Internet Archive with the CGI robots malfunctioning before a live show begins. besides that i really wished he made more. Also i love your pfp
As always, the doctor is iconic. I wonder where he would be now, if he hadn't moved on. I mean no disrespect, of course, his choice has been made, but it would've been interesting to see his take on the ever-changing insanity that is today's modern world. What we really need now, more than ever, is his perspective of life and the world (although a world makeover wouldn't hurt!) I wonder how many toy soldiers are really left, out there, wondering where we've all run off to. "Don't go away, don't go away, don't go away and leave me" indeed!
I adore this sooo much. Dr.steel is by far my greatest hero and biggest inspiration. I wish more people would see what made him so admirable. It is a great pain of mine to know he moved on, and i wish i had found him before it was done. Ive been infatuated by him for over 4 years now and am still going strong. He has a good few other songs on youtube that aren't here. 12000 miles through space is a good one. He also has plenty of recordings and other fun little treats on his SoundCloud if you're so inclined. I hope hes happy, and as much as i wish he'd come back, im ever thankful for what was given to me. This is to me a new genre of music that is offensively unexplored by other artists. And i only hope one day to make the doctor proud with the inspiration gifted to me. All hail dr. Seel!
I'm sad to say I've only recently discovered Doctor Steel and straight away really enjoyed him and was sad when I found out he has retired. He really seems like a genius and a mad one at that and it's really nice some of the things i've read that the toy soldiers have done since he stopped not only kept him going in a way but some of the charity type things i've read about that they have done...also some of the best facial expressions i've ever seen XD

No Malkavian from vampire the masquerade. I know that in the new vampire the requiem the name is spelled differently but I mean the old world of darkness games.
Don't need to be a Malk to be crazy, and madness can some with enlightenment. His Aesthetic is very Etherite. An Etherite marauder, perhaps? (Since marauders pull people into their reality, heh).

In retrospect, I've always thought that too, that this was either goodbye, or he felt that the end is near. Gone, but not forgotten.
Love Dr Steel's artistic and musical style (where was this guy when I was 13?).
I still find it sad the final lyrics he sang to us were "Don't go away and leave me" and then he went away and left us.
