I was watching your really old guides yesterday, where you weren’t even in the frame. Your channel has come a long way in improved technique, really love the guides. One thing that would make them even better is time stamps for different acts or important events like respecs or pivotal gear changes etc
At the end of Act 2 he was talking about why he swapped to Venge at 18 even though zeal holyfire is a lot stronger for levelling. I hate when I look up a guide and the first thing they say is "play the entire game with this much better build first, then swap to this one" I want to play the whole game as the build I want to play. So even if it's inefficient I appreciate the levelling as venge Llama
i thought i was the only one!!! and this exact one is easy to do without even holding points, you literally can just buy your prereqs in all trees while you're waiting for vengeance to open up.
I remember back when I played the game there was no such thing as respec from Akara. So you had to level up as your endgame build the entire game. This made solo playing so much harder, imagine playing a wind druid but not being able to put points into relevant skills until you are later in the game lol... Like WTF do you do against duriel
This build is really good with a team. Being able to get the conviction aura out so your javazon can kill faster, that your trap assassin blows people away, but still being able to contribute some damage yourself are great ways to help the team clear faster.
I have played diablo some 2001. Taken breaks for wow and others, but always end up back playing d2. I can't believe I'm just finding you chanel 20 years later. Also, can't believe there's so many little tricks I didn't know.

Honestly, being able to make runewords in Mechanics, Artisans, and Jewelers items would be really interesting. Some of the affixes would be quite nice to mix into various runewords.

Avenger has been my favorite build for utilizing the Griswold set. There are better options, but it's nice to have a build that uses those hard-to-find pieces.

They should give Vengeance a small AoE radius (basically just wide enough that all targets immediately adjacent to the first targetare being hit with elemental damage). Avengers barely get any leech and are hopeless against big packs because of that, even if each swing is a kill shot. Also, the last hour+ would have been way way WAY faster if he'd not have stubbornly committed to his steel scimitar. It is a great weapon but he should have made that 3 socket flail into a malice or just bought a 2 socket flail from Fara and made a new steel. IAS is super important obviously but the Vengeance skill scales with weapon damage and 6-10 base in Act 4 and 5 is chump. Llama is a d2 mastermind but he is an "end-game guy" and the "I'll find something better anyways" mentality of an end-game player gimps them for playthroughs sometimes. I mean, the guy has done more speedrun playthroughs than I've even made characters so who am I to say, but still...
Mate - I really enjoy watching your guided playthroughs and all other content. My only issue is with the crunching when eating. You have a high quality microphone inches away and that's all I can hear.

Hey llama with runewords in SP confirmed will these guides include them. Apart from you learning piano in 9 days and the insanity that is fishing weapon and armour racks. This is my favourite series.
Would pick an Assaasin if you are new. Their traps, shadow take up the tough pack spawns in some areas making it much safer for newer players. Enter a map spam traps etc. And then go farm or w.e you doin.
Dude idk....I love grabbing the A1 Merc lol. Necessary? No, but definitely helpful especially if you're a newer player. Plus it's fun having a partner.
The bug for Andariel is taking your own portal back to town and then going to act 2.... that is the full bug. If you stay in her chamber and her TP appears, and you take it, you are !@#$ED. so just use your own tp and go to act 2. thus bug. also want to point out, dude struggles because he doesn't kill everything. he literally skips mobs and only kills "elites" and ends up under leveled. if you slow play you wont struggle as much as he does, but you also wont be "first" to the end.

I played D2 since it came out but I leart more in a few months since I watch your guided playthroughs than I learnt in all the other times.

Would this Avenger be a good companion to a Javazon and a Blizzard Sorc for a 3 player group for D2 R?
blizzard sorc uses cold mastery which already reduces enemy resistance and cold immunity is really hard to break, javazon would love a conviction aura

what you're looking at is his paladin using holy freeze, and his merc using blessed aim
It's a bug that happens when you respec. It's only visual.

Why not use the players x command during guided play throughs?
I think Llama's said before that people playing on bnet don't necessarily have that option to use players x.

Too bad Vengeance doesn't work with Grief. Technically it should, but +damage is somewhat bugged.
