He has literally textbook perfect form and he contacts the ball so solidly every time. A lot of hitters hit the ball and the hit sounds like a slap, but Ishikawa's hit sounds literally like a cannon!!
I wouldn't say Yuki Ishikawa is a right outta the textbook technique hitter. The only other person in the league who is similar to him is Yanagida and even then they both have there differences. Yuki Ishikawa arches his back way too much and uses a lot of his hips. I think a textbook hitter would more be like Aaron Russel for the USA.
Man i cant agree with you, Aaron Russel is way more big than ishikawa, he have a better timing and he always hit the ball as high as he can, but you just cant compare ishikawa and russel, they have totally different playstyles, russel is slow and measured, and in the other way ishikawa is an explosive jumper who is capable of use the block for his own benefit
