@lythanhcong, I just wanna know did Thanh give you his house? You and Thanh are not married, just that he just completed renovating this house from ground up and ran into you in the forest. You were in need of a place to stay because stepmother kicked you out. So he took you in. Then he got "drafted" (assume that was true) but has he never come back home? Not even once in last 7 months? No letters? Doesn't make any sense to me. If I were in the same situation, I were still a "guest" of the house, I have no right to invite another person to stay in the house unless the original owner agreed. I believe that Thanh did come home during Tet and found that you had adopted a toddler (this girl is at least 2 to 3 years old). He probably disliked the situation and, he took the house back some furnishing got throw out (the swing). Were there a fight over the house and after 3 months, you won the case to move back in. Did poor Thanh lose everything including all the money he invested into building the house. You did the right thing to adopt the toddler, but if that caused Thanh lost the house he built, then that would not be fair.
