Very true brother, I like when he talked about the smartest people you respect arrived at the same conclusion, and how Satoshi created bitcoin and a set of incentives, that if unleashed on humans, would result in the outcomes he was going for.
A common thread with bitcoiners is the desire to learn- an unquenchable search for absolute truth. This is being red pilled. If an individual is not red pilled, they will never be successfully orange pilled. This guy gets it.
Bitcoiners are are lot more open and intelligent than average people. The psychedelic thing and Bitcoin go together really well. The fusion of dreams and reality, or capitalism and communism has become real now.
I think Satoshi created a full meritocratic money, like you mentioned how the speed of the network is irrelevant, that is because in a meritocracy "economic goods or political power are vested in individual people based on ability and talent, rather than wealth, social class, or race. Advancement in such a system is based on performance", so by fixing the speed of the network, the only way to get ahead is by working hard. Or fraud or theft as we've seen probably millions of times thanks to silk road. Brilliant episode dudes!
Was so close to buy bitcoin 2017, now it feels a bit late? To at least see those massive 20-30x gains. I think the cycle could break and we don’t even reach 100k, and 1 million probably not gonna come in the future, maybe in 20 years. But I will always hold bitcoin. Feels like everyone expect 100k+, like its written in stone.
