Yeah, the camouflage comm mod seems a bit to strong compared to lights, at least on this lobby where vision is already low. But without the camouflage comm feels very weak, which is why this lobby never used it for the longest time.
I’m soooooooo confused by the “no one calls comms” argument. Comms are strong, people are realizing comms are strong, and comms are even stronger if calling them frames Kara and Courtilly. It’s sooooo strange. And Koji is right, just last week Hafu herself said comms were great and that’s not an argument anymore.
@@heatth1474comms under-rated IMO. They literally made rules around not going on cams early game (which weakens it greatly) and the lobby always full of admin/vitals info which well timed comms could help really restrict

She's honestly the biggest hypocrite on meta-sus. And don't get me wrong, I'm not a hafu hater. I really like her actually. But I've always found their "meta" rule ridiculous. Rather than trying to have a rule of "never vote solely based on meta" (which they never properly followed anyway), the lobby should have evolved to frame each other. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately for content) half of this lobby is not that intelligent so you'll never see a Kimi-type player ever frame someone else via their reactor/comms call.

I imagine that Hafu called out Kara for a lot of the reason Dumb Dog knew she was imposter in a different game just by her stretch. She knows Kara is incredible at this game and doesn’t wanna keep meta gaming her. She wants Kara as an opponent to keep her good at the game. Thankfully Koji has ended that meta almost single handed. I can’t wait to see how the morning lobby evolves with the coms calls.

As a player who lovers Poker as well, I’ve always thought that any info that’s freely available is “fair game”. I don’t fault Hafu for sussing Kara. The rest of the lobby should exploit that by calling Comms to frame Kara (maybe not this game 😂) and then get her voted, until it no longer gets associated with her. Otherwise it’s unreasonable to ignore a Comms call if the only player alive who calls it is Kara. Players need to adapt to these “tells”, not ignore them.
I've watched loads of games where other players will call comms. DumbDog calls comms and could easily have been impostor if they thought it was an Arso kill that round. This is not a Kara exclusive, so even that reasoning is faulty, which is a shame as Hafu is normally quite good at piecing together the mystery. As Koji pointed out, everyone else was already talking about how powerful it was, there was absolutely no reason to single out Kara. Especially the arrogant way that Hafu yeeted her out the game "until she learns" was just absolute trash.

We are now 3 years into this game and understand its hard for meta sus to not factor in. The fact is they have been doing this so long they have come to accept that it happens and if they are really pressed about it they will talk to each other. And not need the community to be toxic.
DK is not all the time called out for it and even back then he was called out mostly cause reactor and he also kills terribly during the reactor when most people get cleared.
