    Ben is laying down some deep groove on this tune, and with some stank on that bass tone to boot! Sizzling pentatonic runs really evoke the Johnson vibe on this killer tune. Awesome.

    So nice to hear a modern player with good chops, good sense of melody, and great songwriting ability. A good song will always stand the test of time. Just look at Joe Satriani stuff. It has melody and you can hum the song all day at work. It’s a winning formula

    Did the drummer mix this? Blasting the song in the truck, all I hear is the kick. Had to switch to the CD version. Other than that, a great tune and performance.

    Fantastic sounds all round. Guitar needs wider vibrato ;)

    • @andywoodmusic
      @andywoodmusic 5 лет назад +4

      Mac EJ didn’t use a crazy wide vibrato very often. I tried to capture his feel as best I could.

    Maybe it’s my speakers in my car but the guitar tone sounds too low and just weak, the bass sounds great tho

      Juan Jose Martinez I take it that you are unaware that the right honorable Mr. Johnson hails from Austin. Either that or your humor doesn’t quite translate to RUclips...

      Knowing how Andy usually plays this is obviously a very respectful tip of the hat to Eric Johnson.... I'm Eric will be honoured man, always awesome 🎸👌
