My mom from 'yingkiong' In Arunachal pradesh did train for the 1962 war, while she was at her early 10 yrs of age. They were kids who were trained how to hold guns and shoot for the ongoing war at that time. Lucky me , there were no consequences that she was personally involved in the war. A huge praise and respect for those indian soldiers who have given their life for our country and our people...jai Bharat jai Hindustan.
My grandfather lost his legs in this war ... He was part of gharwal riffles .. even after the war he lived like a hero .. till he died in 2010. I have heard various stories of this war . How bravely we fought against china, who was much more powerful then us that time.
