idk if you'll read this, but about the pirates on the burkeland trade route, if you sell stolen cargo you can rejoin the game and return to grand isles, saving time on having to return, not to mention burkeland trade routes are good if you are looking to sit afk a bit longer as it doesnt require constant adjustment, even if it is less profitbale for time comparison
I want to ask a question, Since i encounter a lot of low demand on triangle, Is going Salem, Weymouth, Nassau profitable as on a camel you get 9k,9k and 6k per circuit ( there is a short leg of crosswind from Weymouth to the map boarder )
How much of a change will this be with the introduction of fish cargo? Given Fish cargo is oftentimes 3x the value of cargo, could we nullify the downside of selling said fish to further ports (say, Burkeland)?
For sure, I'll admit I had an amazing rain of terror with a marauder a friend and 5 or 6 noobs who where just learning the game, we supplied them with swords, they followed orders, we got cargo. Most pirates now are in official crews like you said or purely rp groups, it's a shame takes the risk out of trading and the fun of raids.
To my knowledge the trading mechanics are still the same. Some of the ship specific commentary has changed though, as the speed/capacity of some ships are different now, and there are new trade ships in the game.

As a new player, I usually go from Whitecrest to Freeport To Nassau then back to Whitecrest.
Same, good route for starters i think, its not too boring and on the starting trade ship it gives i think about 830 doubloons

Nassau to burkeland to the bottom east island isle to nassau gives insane amount of money that also gives wind full time
That is one of the worst routes in the game
@@Crypriva why did you think that is the worst trade route in the game?
trade velocity far inferior to other routes
@@tqser how about a break at harrisburg and salem along the way?

Yeah official pirate crews are more focused on skirms nowadays. Raiding is a pain and isn't as profitable as trading
But it’s fun

The worst thing about burkeland is that since the city is so huge. It is extremely easy for it to crash your game.
I think that's a potato pc problem
