    Got my 2022 300L last July. Have 4700 miles on it so far and I love everything about this bike. 74 year old ex KTM rider here. Nice vid, thanks.

      Have you done anything about the twitchy throttle? I had my ECU flashed and that seemed to help with the issue slightly, but it certainly didn’t rectify the issue 100%. I’m wondering if anyone has had any luck with any of the throttle tamers that are out on the aftermarket...

    • @NANA-qn8on
      @NANA-qn8on Год назад +2

      @@airadaimagery692 I don't see a need for any throttle mods as it works just fine for me. Keep it on the pipe and it's all good.

    • @airadaimagery692
      @airadaimagery692 Год назад +2

      @@NANA-qn8on yes, it’s perfectly fine for joy rides. But I do a lot of technical riding. This bike doesn’t have throttle control anywhere near as good as a carbureted motor. I guess it’s only obvious to the more experienced riders.

    • @NANA-qn8on
      @NANA-qn8on Год назад +5

      @@airadaimagery692 Well, I doubt the less experienced rider comment. I think you're expecting too much. If you ride the bike in a mediocre way it acts up, if you keep it revved, use the clutch alot this problem is little to non existent.

    Great review and very informative. This is a fantastic example of how an obviously very experienced rider can showcase what this bike is can do. One of the best reviews I've seen so far!

    Throw Perelli M21's on the front with Dunlop D606's on the rear.
    Then you will have some fun. 😁

    Great to see some praise for the honda 300 . We all know the suspension is soft but its not a motocross bike. Great fair review

  • @GrotrianSeiler

    Say all the good things you want about this motorcycle, but if no one has any for sale, what good is it? So I bought a KLX300, and I couldn’t be happier.

    • @airadaimagery692
      @airadaimagery692 Год назад +6

      The KLX is a nice machine. Kawasaki has always been a winner in the competition. I just don’t understand why they couldn’t do something as simple as adding a fuel gauge. I street legal motorcycle with no fuel gauge at this day and age is sort of ridiculous. That wouldn’t stop me from buying one though.

    Nice video showing what this bike can do with no mods. Pretty much the same way I ride with the exception of wheeling on the street. I would have turned around and gone back up that single track trail you descended.

    im sold, wheelies at 25mph is good enough, crf450l would be over kill for my lazy riding in forest, and the engine is bulletproof ( i meant service intervals, oil, etc)

    Good riding and better review. If u ride these bikes as intended, nothing can beat the fun factor of ripping around town and then desert, mnts, trails. Exactly like u said the soft suspension and smooth controls makes them enjoyable to ride offroad, not race. So many people put 90/10 knobbies on these and make them ride like farm equipment on the road, then whine cuz its heavy for hard enduro....They AINT meant for that. Keep the 50/50 tires on, air them down offroad and enjoy it as a small bore dual sport capable of getting u anywhere

    Nice review. I test rode the EU version of this bike today, ended up buying it :)
    Previously rode a WR250R, which has a much snappier motor, might be that the EU version of the CRF300L is somewhat detuned due to emission restrictions. The CRF300L I tried still has decent torque, which makes it pleasant to ride on local roads.
    The CRF300L struck me as a very nice bike for dual-sport use, and as my primary usage for it will be winter road riding (in Norway), it'll likely fit the bill perfectly as the EU version has ABS brakes front and back. Looking forward to getting studded tyres on it, and hope they forget to plow the road once in a while :)
