- ITS A CLASSIC! Thats right today on the channel we are returning to the game I once called the original dragonball fighterz, Dragonball Z Burst limit! Will we be able to overcome that this old dbz game is insane and broly being able to hit so hard? Will we win a goku vs vegeta beam clash? Theres so much to this!

Wasn't that a bad ending for at least one Dragonball RPG? Goku didn't fall for Raditz's words, so he deattached his tail for the second Beam Cannon, so he got out of the way. Gohan sees this, kills him, and Raditz takes him with. The last scene was four Frieza pods landing of earth. Vegeta, Nappa, Raditz, Gohan.

Burst Limit has always been one of my favourite fighting games ever made. It singlehandedly got me into the DBZ series, and was the first fighting game I ever played after Smash Bros.
This game means a lot to me and is just a really polished Budokai experience.

This was my favorite Dragon ball game tbh. It's waaaaaaaay ahead of its time. All it lacked was the later sagas like buu, future, & gt and honestly could of went into movies with Bojack, Super 13, Super 17, Fusion reborn, and metal cooler. The game was damn near perfect and could of went further but idk why it didn't. Maybe people didn't know about it or they didn't care for it at the time. Sad
If only we could’ve gotten a beam struggle in FighterZ 😞

eh I don't really like the mashing mechanic in super competitive games! I think the cool clash effect is about the best they could do with it!

this is the best dbz fighter imo simple yet elegant lot of mechanics they never explain. if you press right trigger and attack after knocking back your oppenent you can tele behind them and keep knocking them around as long as you have ki.. and if you spam dodge faster than your opponent spams light attack you'll dodge without moving its pretty sweet
Ps3 Raging Blast 2. That was one of the Best Db Games plus over 40 Characters. I still have it. Love to see that come from you.

i got immediate nostalgia when i saw the characters selection, i played that game all the time when i was young with my cousin maaan
I remember when i still had budokai Tenkaichi 2 i really liked the beam clashes/struggles. I especially liked them after i realized you could boost the power by pressing( I think) the energy charging button to use what ever energy you had left to boost the beam.

Burst limit is the first thing I saw of dragon ball. The second was the omega shenron fight in gt and ssj4 gogeta fusion. Both were great experiences that got me into the series a long time ago

I would recommend the Raging Blast games. Raging Blast two specifically has a huge roster, and team fighting. It is an arena fighter, which is a different type of game, but it’s still crazy fun
This really was the vibe on ps3, Raging Blast was good too but Burst Limit was my favorite with how it played and at the time was the first game to really look close to the anime art style whereas with raging blast I enjoyed ultimate Ninja storm style fighting

Seeing anything on burst limit is so great, most underrated DBZ game of all time, that amount of overconfidence in the first game is more suited to Vegeta than Krillin though
