Funny. Wonder Woman checks herself after the spin, but her bulletproof bracelets are missing. She should have spun around one more time😄😄😄😄. Loved this show and Lynda Carter as a kid!

I agree but it was always a more difficult transformation to film and also always had the problem of her finding somewhere to stash her clothes. It worked when she was in an office where she could stash her outfit in the closest but where would she put her clothes if when she transformed out in a field somewhere? They also never explained how she transformed back into Diana when her civilian clothes were all the way back at the office. I always wondered how someone didn't come across her discarded uniform in the closet and saw the name plate with Prince written on it
Thanks for this one! I much preferred seeing Diana Prince’s slow motion transformation to Wonder Woman. And the brown highlights on her hair should’ve been retained in seasons 2-3.

It's the same scene used multiple times. You were supposed to believe she kept the bracelets between the office back door and the building exit.

The only thing changed from the comics was Tommy's Sherlock Holmes obsession. It was Robin Hood in the comics. This made more sense.
Well yeah...everyone knows Robin Hood is for some Emerald Archer who's really bad at detective work, but there was a story like that in his feature too with a different Tommy.
Using Detective Work also fits better in any big 3 book since...that's their company.

Her acting was so bad in the beginning.
I guess she was still new to the world and was supposed to be naive. But a lot of the time she comes off a bit ditzy.
All of the acting is truly terrible. The scripts just a joke. People didn't tune in for a story. They tuned in because free unlimited porn wasn't available.
In 2023, those seventies boys inhabit the comments channels to wax poetic on how superior this was to modern WW. What they actually mean is Carter has massive bangers.
@@tommiatkins3443 The writing and production of much of this show was written like it wa a Saturday morning children's show rather than a serious superhero drama. I do think that Lynda's beauty and amazing figure did keep the show running even with the horrible writing and production.

I never noticed it before, but I see know that she wasn't wearing her bracelets after she transformed into Wonder Woman at 0:22. If they did notice, they must have decided it wasn't worth reshooting the scene.

I still don't understand why she didn't just pull the truck to safety or use the lasso to pull the truck to safety.
I agree that Wonder Woman could have just grabbed the back of the truck and pulled it and Steve to safety. At 1:15 she is right at the back of the truck and could have easily grabbed it and used her superstrength to pull it back from the cliff. The way the episode ended up makes no sense because how did she know that Steve was going to jump out of the truck as it went over the cliff.

An epic transformation. I loved the slow motion spin with Diana Prince slowing fading and Wonder Woman emerging. Lynda Carter will always be Wonder Woman. Such a beautiful woman!

Interesting that this is the only wirework used in the entire series.... it's like she's floating or flying to save Tommy. I suppose too difficult and time consuming to continue to use on a weekly series budget/ schedule.
I always thought the sequence where she grabs Tommy was very awkward special effects and doesnt make any sense if she is only supposed to be jumping and grabbing Tommy.

I love it tho Linda is the best. I still think shes' my favorite.
They also never explained how exactly that transformation took place. Was she wearing her Wonder Woman outfit under her uniform or did it somehow just magically appear. She also would not just have her uniform but also her bra to get rid of after the transformation. While the first season transformation was more involved, the 2nd and 3rd season "explosion" transformation did simplify things.
I'm trying to figure out how the special effects was done for her rising up to grab tommy.it looks almost like they were using a w woman mannequin pulled up on a rope.we at least know tommy was a mannequin hanging around her neck as she came down and did you notice how the lasso turned into this thick rope?I also wondered what her star spangled bottoms were made of for it to be so puffy as if filled with air.i wish I could have asked donfeld,he was the costume designer.i met him once,he was the designer for a movie I was in,in 1974.
For the Republic serial "Captain Marvel" (1941) when Captain Marvel flew it was actually a papier mache dummy slid along a taut wire. This effect was also used in the Republic serials "King of The Rocket Men" (1949) and "Radar Men From The Moon" (1952). I suspect a similar effect was used here.

In these early episodes where she had to hide her clothes after her transformation, I always wonder what would happen if someone found her clothes while she was Wonder Woman and took them not realizing she would be coming back for them. I can just imagine her trying to sneak around dressed as Wonder Woman until she could find more clothes.

For the spins in seasons 1 and 2: Is there any logical, if not technical, explanation as to how and why Diana's hair-bun would fall off during her spins?
The hair was supposed to fall. The ponytail changed that. If you look closely using our modern technology, you'll notice the bun usually loosened going into the spin to make the fall easier. Bows or ribbons would fall and disappear in the jet stream.

I f "Wonder Woman" saved me when I was a 10 year old boy, "I'd be getting into "All Kinds" of trouble. I would stand in traffic, play with downed electrical wires, stand on a roof and scream help, play with a loaded gun, spit at the police. OK, that last one was just for fun.

Wonder Woman and Kid Mystery
After wonder woman and Steve regroup at the base, it is there that Wonder woman is introduced to her new partner for their next mission. A young and brilliant super powered super detective. The sidekick of Detective Mystery.
Steve: Ok wonder woman, now that we know your safe. It is time for our next mission. You 2 have to infiltrate a secret Nazi army base just outside of the city.
Wonder Woman looked at the kid and smiled warmly.
WW: You're Detective Mysteri's sidekick? Aww, You're so cute.
Kid Myst: Come on wonder woman, we don't have time for you to call me cute. We need to get into that base. Now hold on tight, I will take us there.
Wonder Woman kneels down to the 4ft tall kid and says:
WW: Alright, do your thing Kid.
The next thing she knew, they were outside of the old base.
WW: Wow. That was amazing. I didn't know you could do that.
After getting there, Kid Mystery and Wonder woman began running around the base looking for a way inside. Eventually they saw an unattended guard Tower. So Kid Mystery pointed up at the Tower and shot a small cable at the tower. The Cable attached itself to a metal bar on the top of the tower and locked in place.
WW: Good shot. Can it hold both of us?
Suddenly they both hear someone talking. So Wonder woman grabs onto kid mystery and they swiftly launch up the wall.
